“Fine dining at its best. Pricey - but pretty cool. They do meat as well as the usual fish. Tom Kerridge recommends as his favourite restaurant in the UK”

“Lots of guests are interested in visiting Padstow and going to Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant. The set lunch is good value for a "TV chef" and the a la carte is very good. We like to book a late lunch (around 2pm) and drive to Padstow in the morning – park in the Padstow car park in front of Rick Steins and hire bikes from there and cycle (or walk) some of the Camel trail for a few hours then back to Rick Steins for lunch. The Camel trail is an 18 mile long disused railway line which passes through spectacular countryside and coastal areas. (Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow) Padstow is a pretty town and well worth the trip and a walk around after lunch.”

“This is the best fish and chip restaurant in the area.... we think. The lemon sole is amazing. Be careful of the seagulls. If you get takeaway there are seats around the back of the building. ”

“Padstow is about 1 hours drive from the property. Its a lovely harbourside town but much smaller than St Ives. Its a pretty village with a harbour and beach. You can get the ferry across to Rock which is another pretty village.”

“This is our favourite seafood place to eat. Best place to sit is at 'the bar'. Tapas dishes are smallish, so start at the top of the menu and work your way down - really good food. You might need to book as this place is very popular.”
