“This park is AMAZING. The Chinese pagoda built on the water is simply breathtaking. The ridge over a little gully built of sandstone and beach pebbles looks like a place where someone should propose. There is a Starbucks in old town right up the street. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy this park for a morning. Or take in a sunset on the hill facing West. Enjoy dinner at one of Tacoma's waterfront restaurants after, which are within walking distance or a drive down the road.”

“Great little spot in the middle of the city to go for a walk on some nice trails. Some parts are a bit steep with a lot of steps, so be prepared to break a sweat in Summer. Tip: start at 30th Street entrance and walk down to Ruston Way to explore a bit before heading back up the hill. ”

“I nicknamed this Louis beach for when my dog was still with me, we would walk here every morning and throw stick after stick... So tranquil I still walk to this beach every morning to smell in the saltwater and say hello to my favorite Heron”

“Really small park in Old Town Tacoma. Not big enough to play catch but perfect for two to sit on the bench and watch the sunset/sunrise. East of the Spar. ”
