This is a weekend morning walk staple - head north to Brookland to see the Basilica, or south to NOMA to pick up groceries or board the Metro. The MBT runs parallel to the Metro/Amtrak tracks - keep an eye out for the excellent graffiti artwork on the eastern wall, which starts just south of R St. ”
