The Studio is located on the back side of our property and is completely detached from our main house. Ideal place if your looking to be a little out of the downtown city area and desire City Park location, with free parking that is secure, a patio to enjoy a meal or smoke. Ideal for a couple or 3
The studio is good size for a couple and has the option of a Murphy Pull down bed out of the closet, if you have a 3rd person. Please let us know if you are 3 people, so we leave linen for the Murphy bed and proper towels. There is a small kitchenette, with a fridge and microwave. Utensils and plates are left for 3 people. The outdoor bistro set is for 2 people. Many food stores and local restaurants can be walked or biked too. We are a very pet-friendly. We do require $ 10.00 per pup max 2 per booking, cash on arrival.

    Twisty bird Beautiful tiny 1 bedroom cottage in an iconic New Orleans neighborhood. Bikes, coffee, and a beautiful park next door. :) ~1 block from the park ~2 blocks from the Treme's Petit Jazz Museum ~7 blocks from Bourbon No house is perfect but we want to be the perfect fit for you. Please read our reviews carefully. The Treme is a mixed neighborhood and some people beg and hustle. Our house can get hot. (UPDATE: not anymore! the new AC is ICE COLD)
    The unit is a private access micro unit, attached to another unit. The room is 10x11. There’s a queen sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, food tray, window unit, space heater and smart tv . Please note, the bathroom has a low ceiling. Not recommended for guests over 6ft. The space doesn’t have a couch or table .

    This apartment (1/2 of a duplex/double) is in The Bywater. Walk to the French Quarter in just about 20 minutes or Frenchman st. in 15 minutes. Apparently, I should add that there is a train 2 blocks down the street and church bells across the street. Also, there is a memory foam/body conforming mattress. The house is set off the street so no stoop sitting. Enjoy the front porch for people and pet watching. STL# 19STR-10362
    "La Maison des Chats" is nestled in one of the oldest neighborhoods in New Orleans; we are a quaint double; "Old world charm in a modern city." Conveniently located this apartment is downtown and just minutes to all sites and tourist locations. I am constantly buying new items for the space, so it is not cluttered (yet). I ask all guests, that have stayed, to let me know what I should provide for their comfortable stay and I have provided all they suggest.
    One of the oldest neighborhoods in the city and has been one of the top neighborhoods to move into in America. We have working families that walk their dogs everyday by the house and some are even pushing their baby strollers.

    Lovely apt with 14 foot ceilings and exposed plaster walls right in the middle of the French Qtr and the Garden Dist, 10 minute walk to the Convention Center, and with wonderful food and drink options within one block. Separate entrance and entire floor of 1850s brick townhouse. We own the home, and we live on the first floor of the building.     Old 1850s brick townhouse located on the edge of the Lower Garden District. The apartment is romantic, full of antiques, and has a super comfy king size bed. Newly renovated bathrooms as of October 2019. If you love food, you are within walking distance of some great restaurants located either uptown on Magazine Street or downtown in the Warehouse District / CBD. There is a lovely bar right next door, an awesome coffee shop right across the street and a microbrewery within a block. You are just a 20 minute walk to the French Quarter as well. We own this house, live in the building, and do all the booking, communication and cleaning ourselves, so we’re here to make your stay as great as possible with a personal touch! Your stay funds the renovation of this building so thanks for considering us for your trip to New Orleans!     We love this neighborhood! It is right in the middle of city along the river, so a more low traffic spot, but with easy access to the more commercial and entertainment districts. It has its own lovely set of bars, coffee shops, and wonderful restaurants very close by though.

  • Heimilið var svo krúttlegt! Þeir unnu virkilega fínt starf með skreytingunni. Það er nógu nálægt franska hverfinu en við enduðum samt á Uber vegna hitans. Laura var frábær æðisleg í að koma með tillögur um staði til að borða og ýmislegt að gera. Hún var líka mjög móttækileg fyrir allar spurningar sem við höfðum.     This house is located on North Rampart Street in the historic Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, just East of the French Quarter. North Rampart Street used to be called Rue D'Amour, or the "street of love", and the famous streetcar named Desire used to run right by it on neighboring Bourbon Street, which used to extend into the Marigny but now stops in the French Quarter. The house, built in 1816, is one of the oldest houses in the neighborhood, and was once run as a bed & breakfast called A Cottage on Rue D'amour. Now it houses locals as well as tourists exploring the city.

    Recently renovated 1 bedroom on the edge on the Historic Bywater neighborhood. Walking distance from neighborhood restaurants and bars such as Parleaux, Vaughn's, Jack Dempsey's, and a local favorite Bacchanal! A short 5-7 min Uber ride down to the French Quarter and Frenchmen St.
    Recently renovated, the space consists of a living room with a large sofa, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, 1 bedroom with a queen sized bed, and 1 full bathroom. Central AC/Heat. Roku LED TV with apps Netflix, Amazon and Hulu etc built in. We have no Cable TV at this time other than what you can stream on Apps.
    The apartment is on a quiet block, on the edge of the Bywater neighborhood. Just to clarify, it is not in a city center or big tourist area like the French Quarter. We are on the outskirts of that area. The levee just one block away where you can get amazing views of the Mississippi River. Located near the train tracks that comes around a few times a day.* Friendly neighbors have lived in the area for a long time and everyone looks out for each other. Many of Bywater staples are just blocks away. Bacchanal is a few blocks down and a must see when traversing the neighborhood. They have an amazing courtyard and live music here every night! BJ's, Vaughn's and Bar Redux are great watering holes that host various nights of live music, game nights and drink specials. All within walking distance. A convenience store only two blocks away that serves lunch and a pretty good beer selection. Also this neighborhood hosts some of the oldest and admired architecture in the city! *Please Note: The train is right by the apartment and can come by several times a day and even LATE at night. The train horn can be very loud at times. I have a very effective sound machine and ear plugs to help combat the noise, but it doesn't drown out the train horn completely. If you are sensitive to loud sounds, please be aware before booking my place.

    Our newly renovated apartment is right in the middle of town, within walking distance of Magazine St. and just on the edge of the Garden District. Plus, it's just 3 blocks from the streetcar and St. Charles Ave.
    Please be our guest in the newly renovated apartment situated at the back of our really old (1850s), charmingly-dilapidated house. It’s just a couple blocks from the parade route/street car/St. Charles, and only about a mile from the Superdome. They don’t call it Central City for nothing! Walk past the main house, down a winding brick pathway, and up the stairs to the private entrance. You enter into the kitchen, with concrete countertops, old wood floors, and plenty of sunlight pouring through the original wood windows with old bubbly glass. Fix yourself a drink and head up the spiral stairs to the bedroom. Just around the iron handrail is a queen size bed, and plenty of reading material about the places you’ll want to see and the food you’ll want to eat while you’re here. Then venture out the bedroom door onto the balcony. Did I mention you’re on the third floor now? The view is excellent, the palm trees sway in the wind, and you can hear the marching bands as they pass down the parade route. I almost forgot the bathroom. Honestly, it’s not huge. But it’s everything you need, plus a claw foot tub. And cozy towels, and bubble bath, and . . . well, it’s a bathroom. And just in case you’re wondering, it also has a flat-screen tv, internet, a microwave, a coffee maker, all the things you need in a kitchen, and probably some welcoming Abita beers in the fridge.
    Central City is the Best! We're right in the middle of everything. . . and I don't mean right in the middle of the French Quarter, I mean in the middle of a less touristy, little bit quieter New Orleans. We're just on the edge of the Garden District, a short walk from Magazine St, and just 3 blocks form the streetcar line. Plus, we're only one block from the super hip, up and coming Oretha Castle Haley Blvd where you'll find the best coffee, the indiest movies, a few restaurants, the new Food and Beverage Museum, and a tatoo parlor in case you're in the market. So come check out my neighborhood, you'll love it like I do!

    This is a cozy 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment (2nd story attached to rear of Main House). It is located on the corner Annunciation St. and First St. in the heart of the Irish Channel, just 3 blocks from the bustling Magazine Street. For those of you who have not visited the area before, Magazine Street exemplifies New Orleans and all that the city has to offer. Encompassing at least six distinct neighborhoods (Downtown/CBD, Warehouse District, Lower Garden District, Garden District, Irish Channel, and Uptown) it’s a six-mile journey filled with nearly every type of shop and restaurant and bar imaginable. Walk to the street car on St. Charles Ave. for a ride all over the city, 5 minute drive to the Convention Center and 10 minute drive to the French Quarter. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, laundry room, and full bathroom. One room has two comfy twin beds. The other room has a comfy queen size bed. There is also an inflatable mattress that can easily be placed in the living room for another sleeping option. We have a full kitchen as well as a washer/dryer.     Our Voodoo Villa Jacuzzi Suite is located on the first floor. Its a one bedroom with a comfy queen size bed, and a huge private bathroom with double sinks, a double headed shower, and a jacuzzi bath. The suite has a private entrance opening directly onto a covered breezeway and is totally self contained. Enjoy the craziness of the quarter, but come home to peace and quiet, except as it gets close to Mardi Gras when the marching band goes by once a night to practice. :) Free street parking always available unless a second line parade is going by (it happens more than you'd think!)     We are in the historic Faubourg Treme, the small part of the Treme closest to the quarter, tucked around Armstrong Park. This is a diverse neighborhood with a long history. Its an area that’s being currently restored but also still very historical, where people that love New Orleans are carefully renovating old houses that have fallen prey to hurricanes, termites, and time. We are just a couple blocks from the beautiful Armstrong park, and to a few local historic museums. The neighborhood is safe to walk at night (although visitors should be careful no matter where you are in New Orleans). We are just 4 blocks to the quarter, and another 3 blocks to Bourbon Street. There is a coffee shop 1 block away and a few convenience stores just a couple blocks away, but mostly the neighborhood is residential and quiet and we ask that our guests be respectful of that. Guests can easily walk (under 20 minutes) to Armstrong Park, the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Canal Street, French Market Place, Jackson Square, Café du Monde, Streetcar lines, Frenchman Street. We are NOT located on over the freeway as the search map often indicates, instead we are located right next to Armstrong Park, just blocks to the quarter. We promise you do NOT Have to run across the freeway to get to the quarter. Silly map!   • Við vorum 3 dagar í Voodoo Villa, skemmtum okkur konunglega í Interiör, sérstaklega Voodoo Villa Survival Kit. Staðsetningin var frábær, allt í göngufæri. Mjög mælt með því fyrir skjótan ferð til New Orleans.

  • Frábær gestgjafi, baðherbergi var ótrúlegt og staðsetning dvalar okkar var fullkomin. Húsið er nógu nálægt öllu í göngufæri en einnig nógu langt í burtu frá öllum síðkvöldum partýunum. Mæli mjög með þessari dvöl og myndi örugglega koma aftur.

  • Synd að það eru aðeins fimm stjörnur til að gefa ... allt átti sex skilið! Samskipti voru frábær og of hröð. Staðurinn var alveg eins auglýstur; við reiknuðum ekki með snakkinu og vatninu í ísskápnum! Íbúðin var með allt sem við þurftum, staðsetningin var fullkomin - innan við 8 Bandaríkjadala Uber ferð til einhvers staðar sem við fórum í franska hverfinu. Litla kaffihúsið / bakaríið við hliðina var ofur-kúpling á morgnana. Baðherbergið var allt sem við ímynduðum okkur: Pottur nógu stór fyrir tvo, tvöfaldur sturtu með miklum þrýstingi og heitu vatni, tveir vaskar, nóg af búðarrými og nóg af handklæði. Það var líka gott úrval af baðherbergi nauðsynjum í boði. Kannski myndi lítið sæti eða bekkur á baðherberginu hjálpa - vinkona mín þurfti að koma með einn af stólunum úr hinu herberginu til að sitja við spegilinn og gera förðun sína. Þeir voru tiltækir ef við þurftum á þeim að halda (brugðust alltaf fljótt við), en skildu okkur í friði alla dvölina, jafnvel þó að þeir væru rétt hjá. Ég myndi vissulega vera hjá þeim aftur. Takk fyrir.

    Located in the New Orleans Garden District, this apartment is ideal for 1-4 guests (or 5 with the white sofa bed in the front room), offering two queen size beds, kitchen w/dining table and large 55" TV. There is one bathroom with a shower. One block off the Mardi Gras parade routes down St. Charles Avenue, it is close to the street car line that can take you downtown (CBD), to the French Quarter, or uptown to the universities (Tulane, Loyola).
    This is a shotgun house built in the 19th Century, with many architectural details. Heated and cooled by two mini-split units mounted high on the wall, each main room also has a ceiling fan and plenty of lights. There is wifi for internet access, a desk in the front room, the full size kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, etc. Featuring granite counters, and large cabinets, there's plenty of room if you want to cook, and plenty of nearby restaurants if you don't!
    Centrally located to much of the city, the Garden District offers easy access to the Warehouse District (museums, art galleries, dining, etc.), the Central Business District (CBD), is close by, and the universities (Tulane and Loyola) and right up St. Charles Ave. Many Mardi Gras parades go down St. Charles Ave, which is one block away. Magazine street is just six blocks away and offers lots of shopping and dining options.

    This eclectic studio is in the Marigny neighborhood and is located half a block to the French Quarter. It is walking distance to everything downtown and there are several public transportation stops a block away that will take you Uptown and or City Park. There are many bars and restaurants close by, the French Market, Jackson Square, Frenchman St. and Bourbon St. are all a 5 minute walk away. The Casino, Aquairum, Steamboat and Canal St are about a 10 minute walk. The studio has a comfortable King size bedroom as well as a queen size foldout couch in the living room if need be. The living room has a small kitchen with fridge, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and is stocked with pots, pans, plates and local coffee. Located in the living room as well is a Smart TV and several books, for the much needed relaxtion time. The bathroom has an extra long tub and mosaic covered walls that are beautifully entertaining. Supplied are also additional sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels. The house is a traditional New Orleans Style double shotgun built in the late 1800's. The neighborhood is a safe area that has many historic homes, coffee shops, retail, live music clubs, and yummy eclectic restaurants. Me and my partner live on the property, in the back, with our 2 wonderful dogs Abita and Licorice!
    The Marigny neighborhood is a wonderful neighborhood full of great jazz bars, coffee shops and the best brunch spots. Situated next to the French Quarter, New Orleans oldest neighborhoods and one of the most picturesque in the country. Burgundy St (Bur-gun-dee) the street the apt is located on was once called Craps St. because Bernard Marigny loved the game so much. He is the reason craps came to the United states in 1807, originally called Hazard, he simplified the game brought it to New Orleans and called it Craps. Due to the many churches that sprung up on the street in the mid-1800's the churches petitions to have the name changed. The Marigny began in March 1805 when the 20 year old minor, Bernard Xavier Philippe de Marigny de Mandeville allowed the subdivision of his plantation located below the Vieux Carré. Bernard began selling property in what would become known as a Creole French speaking suburb. In 1809 thousands of Haitian refugees arrived in New Orleans. Bernard Marigny offered to sell property in his new faubourg with no down payment to these French speaking refugees, and many accepted (whites, free people of color - particularly single females - and their slaves). The Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods became home to a large wave of German immigrants during the 1840’s. Shotgun cottages, some with side halls and side galleries, were built with increasing frequency eventually making them the single most dominant 19th century house type in New Orleans. Settled groups of French, German and English (Irish) speaking people led to many churches being built in the area each offering services in their respective language.
