“A local vibe Mexican restaurant with a rooftop patio. The food isn't amazing but a pre- redrocks stop there for giant margaritas has always been fun!”

“The Sit N Bull is the local watering hole. It's a consummate dive/biker bar: affordable, strong drinks, and pub fare. The Sit N Bull has a rotating schedule of live music and karaoke. This is a fun spot for cheap drinks, but not with kids!”

“Established in 1874, this gateway town to the Front Range, is an excellent excursion for killing time if you are too early for check in. There are several great restaurants and fun shopping. Try the Morrison Inn for Tex-Mex cuisine and look for the napkin on the wall my husband drew of the kitchen staff over 25 years ago:). Roof Top Bar is a great stop to rest the feet and grab a snack. Morrison is a hop, skip and a jump to Dinosaur Ridge, The Morrison Natural History Museum (where they have discovered a new species of Brontosaurus) or Dinosaur Ridge. For a day trip adventure, start in Morrison and then wind your way up Hwy 74 out of Morrison to Evergreen, Co. From there use Maps or Waze to guide you to Conifer where you can stock up on groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. (make sure you understand where you are going! Cell service gets spotty in the canyons!) Or try this trip the other way around and have breakfast at The Cow Eatery!”
