The loft is in a carriage house located in the back of our wooded city lot. It is separate from the family house and guests will be given an access code to come and go as they wish. It is located in a family friendly neighborhood and is within walking distance of bustling Frankfort Avenue and some of the finest shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and bars.
The Crescent Hill neighborhood is one of the most sought after places to stay in the city. The last Friday of every summer month features a Trolley Hop event that highlights the best area shops and offers free trolley transportation up and down Frankfort Avenue. It is not to worry if your stay does not overlap with the last Friday in the month because the loft is located within walking distance of these restaurants and shops. There is a bookstore, bread company, coffee shop, library, wine shop, and restaurants all within a 2-3 block radius.

  • Ógnvekjandi staður á frábærum stað. Við gengum auðveldlega til 4 Street á nóttunni og við erum bara í stuttri akstursfjarlægð til nærliggjandi eldhúsanna sem við vildum heimsækja. Byggingin var mjög róleg og innifalið bílastæði mjög þægilegt. Alls ótrúlegur staður og Ashlyn var frábær gestgjafi.

If you have any questions, please ask.** The studio can be accessed from the alley and features gravel parking for up to 3 vehicles. The lower part of the studio (from the alley) has automatic garage doors which lead to the owner's private artist studio. They are rarely there and always respectful of guests. There is plenty of foam insulation for privacy from any noise. Walking from the rear parking area to the front of the studio there is access via a door with an electronic keypad. The studio is filled with light from windows and a large glass garage door, which can be opened on nice days. When opened, the outdoor space comes inside and you feel grounded and connected with nature. Makeshift draperies help cover the door at night and provide privacy. Please note that a small number of guests have felt the need for additional privacy in this space. Please be cautious about renting if you require complete privacy. The studio space is completely open, with the exception of the bathroom. The living room space is very cozy and features comfortable seating for 4 on a (sleeper) sofa that can convert into a bed for a second sleeping space and a chair. We provide bed linens and pillows for the sleeper sofa. The dining area is in the front left corner of the studio and has interesting architectural elements with windows and artwork. A built-in banquette with conformable pillows provides seating for up to 4 people. A full bathroom divides the dining space from the kitchenette and is decorated with modern bathroom fixtures and tile. Glass cut-outs at the ceiling allow natural light into this space. The Kitchenette is on the other side of the bathroom and has everything you need to prepare a small meal, minus a stove. The bedroom area features a comfortable queen murphy bed. We keep the bed in the down position for your convenience. The TV is attached to the wall to the left of the bed. It can be seen from the living room space but is best viewed from the bed. The TV features the Spectrum App for streaming live TV. HVAC services are provided by a single Mitsubishi split unit, which is very efficient and easy to operate. In times of extream heat, we recommend that you keep the HVAC setting at 70 degrees and all window coverings drawn to help condition the space. The garage door can also be opened and 2 ceiling fans help circulate air. For extremely cold days we recommend using portable heating sources provided.     This neighborhood is perfect for exploring the area. It’s a quiet and friendly street lined by massive shade trees making it the most ideal walking condition to check out nearby shops. Bardstown Road boasts a wide range of authentic cuisines and places to eat. Some favorites among locals are, Holy Grale, The Fat Lamb, La Que, Seviche, Wicks Pizza, Impellizaries Pizza, Migo, Ramses, and Sapporo Japanese grill and sushi. If you’re looking to stop for a quick drink, Ramses, Cafe of the World, is excellent and has light bites. Havana Rumba, Lilly’s, Asiatique, and The Bristol are all excellent options. Barret bar is a great local spot nearly across the street from the house and has pool tables, and nice collection of beers on tap and food as well. There are tons of cute, eclectic shops and vintage boutiques, lining Bardstown Road and the neighboring streets. If you’re looking for something a little more active during your stay, Cherokee Park, an expansive and beautiful park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed Central Park in NYC, is near. Ég gisti hér hjá tveimur vinnufélögum í vinnunni og við vorum öll ánægð með notalega vinnuhópinn með litlu skrifborði og þægilegum stól. Loftið var notalegt og aðlaðandi. Við fórum á ráðstefnumiðstöðina á hverjum degi sem var um 15 mínútna göngufjarlægð. This is attached to our Wedding venue for the convenience of anyone who is coming in for a wedding. It has its on separate entrance away from the venue so you wont be bothered by anyone.     This has a King bed in the loft . Has a Queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a roll out bed that will be in the closet in the hall. There will be extra blankets and pillows in the closet.
    We have many restaurants and some local attractions . One of the largest go cart tracks in america, very close to the Bourbon and Wine trail , Bernheim Forest is near by. The Knob Creek machine gun shoot is just down the road. Louisville and Bardstown has many attractions such as Ky Derby Museum, Slugger field, Civil War museum and the Bardstown Diner Train just to name a few.

Conveniently located in Old Louisville, with easy access to downtown, including the YUM Center and the Louisville Convention Center, Churchill Downs, and the Kentucky Exposition Center, to name a few. The entire apartment is yours. The loft is located in the third story of the home and has a semi-private entrance.
    The loft is in the third floor of our house, accessible by the exterior stair case that goes all the way to the top. The stairs are not steep but there are a few of them, as it is the third floor. The loft has lots of natural light, and a view of downtown Louisville. It is perfect for any of your travels. Relax on the second story deck overlooking our private fenced-in yard, get some work done at the kitchen table, or recline on the sofa and watch TV or relive childhood memories with our Nintendo GameCube. Fully-equipped kitchen with eat-in seating. There is an outlet in the kitchen with USB receptacles. Comfortable living area with reclining couch, 4K Roku TV, Nintendo GameCube, and several books for your reading pleasure (please do not take the books). Bedroom area has a bed with a Tuft and Needle queen mattress, natural fiber sheets, down comforter and pillows, and linen duvet and pillow covers. Black out curtains ensure that unwanted light doesn't peak in. Extra large closet space and hangers. Floor to ceiling mirror. Luggage rack and extra chair for storage. Bedside tables with sleek lamps and plenty of outlets for charging any and every device. Bathroom includes very fluffy towels, hair dryer, shampoo and body wash, and a make-up mirror.
    We love our neighborhood! Old Louisville boasts the largest collection of Victorian homes in the country. While you're here we recommend you walk a few blocks west and take in the historic scene preserved of 19th century living. Our favorite park is Central Park, just four blocks west of our home, built by Olmsted - his first park in Louisville. Within two blocks or less of Central Park you'll find several of our favorite food haunts - North Lime Donuts, Adrienne's Bakery, and the Old Louisville Brewery. There are also several walking courts unique to Old Louisville that we suggest you check out. You can even see one of them from the loft.

We find there are three types of guests: one that wants to stay within a particular budget for a large group, one that is a small group or couple seeking a luxurious + spacious vacation home in the heart of downtown Louisville + one that is seeking a Sweet Spot between the number of beds we can put in a loft + the amount of spaciousness we can provide. Whatever you desire, we can achieve!! Sleeping — Sleeps up to 12 people (that's up to 6 queen-size beds at 2 people per bed). Based on the number of guests in your reservation and the number of beds you tell us you would like, we customize for your group size prior to your arrival. There are 2 distinct sleeping areas + because of the floor plan you can sleep up to 2 couples with visual privacy + up to 12 with less privacy. All of our beds are memory foam mattresses (topped with more memory foam!) + we have even more memory foam toppers on hand for people who almost want to suffocate in the plushness of all this memory foam. And for our firm-mattress fans, we can remove the memory foam toppers to make the bed less soft. Also, we wash all of our bedding including our quilts, blankets + body pillowcases each + every time. And we use 500 thread count sheets + mattress pads. Our apologies in advance for the trouble you are going to have getting yourself out of bed! But we’re not sorry… we just love you that much!!
