“This is a little bit of drive, maybe 10 minutes depending on traffic, but if you’re looking to overindulge for breakfast, you’ve found the right place. Macadamia pancakes with coconut syrup are a specialty, but be hungry. A few pointers as this place gets very busy and you should expect to wait. First, there is some seating on first come first served basis, but do not sit until after you’ve ordered – seating is tough so we do take out sometimes. Second, it used to be cash only, and I don’t know if that’s changed, so be prepared. Finally, while you’re waiting in line be aware of the chickens which frequent the outside of the restaurant. That said, this is a Kihei institution and you should give it a shot.”

“It's right in the heart of Kihei. Centralized to shopping, grocery and other restaurants. The food is great, staff is nice and atmosphere is relaxing. They have 2 locations and both are great! www.coconutsfishcafe.com”

“A huge fresh, organic burger. Fun vibe. I like the apple brie burger. At $16 some may find it a little pricey. Try the made on the spot little Maui doughnuts....so yummy. Located on the west side of Azeka Plaza on S. Kihei Rd.”

“They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a great Taco Tuesday. Their strawberry margaritas are my favorite! Sit at the bar during happy hour or request an ocean view table and watch the sun go down. Great place for both!”

“This is adjacent to Kihei Kai Nani and is a favorite of mine. Bingo is played on Monday nights for cash and prizes. The food is great and the service is excellent. This place is the closest you will get to a Cheer's Bar on the island. It has a mix of tourists and locals and is ideal for the sports bar enthusiasts, especially during the NFL football season. And you can get seating to watch the sunsets while eating from their awesome menu. I love the Hawaiian Burger: avacado, bacon, pineapple, and bbq sauce....YUM!”

“It's just 800 feet from where you're standing! Local's favorite. And is actually the northern portion of Kamaole Beach Park #1.”

“You really just can’t go wrong with a simple ONO burger. If you like wasabi butter and your fish cooked “cajun style” try the Obama Burger. Fries are a must here. They also serve the Brazilian Soda Guaraná here. ”

“One of my family's favorites this is not your typical sushi restaurant. Be sure to order the panko-crusted ahi sashimi, the shrimp dynamite, and the mango crab salad hand roll. ”
