“The Science Museum entertaining and educational exhibits, including the Apollo 10 command module, a virtual reality space-descent experience, old Nokia mobiles and a sixteenth-century artificial arm. You can get your biology fix in The Welcome Wing, which showcases developments in contemporary science, medicine and tech. “Favourite hangout of the young and moneyed Chelsea-ites, the food at Bluebird has traditionally played second fiddle to the cocktails. Newly-appointed executive chef Simon Gregory has, thankfully, upped the kitchen’s game considerably with the likes of salt baked kohlrabi and salsify and spice roasted baby chicken now the stars of the show.”

“If you're making an outing to Kensington Palace or Kensington Gardens get there via this beautiful de-tour. Take a leisurely stroll down Kensington Place Gardens and turn left into the park via the gate that leads you right past Kensington Palace. A gated tree-lined street with impressive palatial embassies and private homes on either side. Known as London's most expensive street. Surprisingly quiet and tranquil spot in central London.”

“Open since 1954, the pub has a 114-cover ground floor restaurant, a 132-capacity club, and a 20-seat wine bar, plus two self-contained flats, and office, garden, and extra storage. It has developed a reputation as a host venue for stars including the first UK shows of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Jimi Hendrix, and other more modern acts such as Adele and Ed Sheeran. It also welcomed Rolling Stones bandmembers Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood, when they played a “secret” gig together there in 2013. SW5 9JA”

“It has the most magical outdoor garden seating but be patient, you need to make a big smile at the waitrer to get the table and dress chic. Smart casual, shirt, jacket, chinos and loafers (basically think relaxed European riviera chic) for men and relaxed tea dresses (read I have just flown back from St. Tropez or Verbier) for ladies. This restaurant is one of my favourite restaurants in the whole of London (make sure to reserve way in advance & try to get the table outside). ”

“A delightful pub in Kensington, The Scarsdale Tavern's fine food and peaceful ambience have made it one of the best places to drink in the area. With great food and real ales, it's an excellent place to take it easy for a few hours and watch the world go by.”

“This is a unique place that looks like an old speakeasy with a detective theme. There is no sign outside the door, so it may be difficult to find, but that's part of the fun. Don't expect too much of the food, keep in mind that you are there for the unique experience and the cocktails!;)”

“Great food and ambience. The pub has a theatre downstairs and hosts a wide variety of shows through the year. It is the local bar for the the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), the oldest drama school in the UK and it's often full of young actors giving it a buzzy feel. Who knows, you may bump into Sherlock actor, Benedict Cumberbatch! He trained at LAMDA and was appointed its President in January 2018. ”
