Museum
“Sámi people are indigenous people of Lapland and Siida is a perfect place to learn about Sámi culture and the diverse nature of Northern Lapland. In this museum, you can acquaint yourself with changing exhibitions on culture, art, and nature throughout the year. Worth of visiting especially during summer they have nice outdoor exhibitions. Recommended for 2 - 3 hours to do it justice. The road to Inari from my cabin provides stunning views of many small lakes.”

“In the daytime, Kaunispään Huippu serves as an all-round café and restaurant. In addition to the spectacular views, you’ll be able to enjoy delicacies baked freshly in our own bakery as well as delicious dishes from our kitchen. You can indulge yourself with the famous big doughnuts of Kaunispää, sweet pies and crowberry cake. Or the salty choices of baked rolls, pizza slices, salmon sandwiches and local kurniekka pies filled with fish.”

“A great choice for a daytrip. Hiking up the fell is at times a bit challenging, so not for those for example with knee-difficulties or other health-issues. Wonderful views at the top towards Lake Inari, River Juutua/Juutuanjoki and the surrounding fells and hills. A small cabin at the top for a snack break (a small fireplace inside), bonfire places along the hiking trail also (more info available at Siida).”

“Hotel Kultahippu is one of the most famous & popular restaurants in Ivalo City Center. Ala Carte menu with many traditional and local Lappish delicacies such as sautéed reindeer meat, salmon soup and Lake Inari white fish. Suitable for relaxed date night. Even Famous Chef Gordon Ramsay and few other A-listers have eaten here and tried Lappish Delicacies. My favorite is of course sautéed reindeer meat with mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam. It's not only melting in your mouth but also classic Lapish dish . Must thing to try if you eat meat. ”
