“Great place to go for a walk to enjoy nature and see some of the sea birds of the area. On the nearby beaches people will often be kitesurfing, fun to watch!”

“Another great beach, a bit out of town but worth a visit. Very calm and relaxing, away from the ocean waves. Great for getting some sun when Westport is fogged in. A popular beach for bird watching.”

“Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge is located at the mouth of the Chehalis River, which makes up the second largest watershed in Washington. It is a major staging area for migrating shorebirds in the Pacific Flyway. Up to one million shorebirds gather here in spring and fall to feed and rest, as well as Bald Eagles, hawks and wren's. It is only a 3.8 mile, 8 min. drive to experience the roughly 2 mile, out and back, trail.”
