“Tintagel Castle is situated on Cornwall's north coast, between Padstow and Bude. A beautiful, rugged landscape to walk around, whilst taking in the legendary history of the castle remains. You will find pay and display car parks in Tintagel Village, 600 metres away from the site. Allow plenty of time to park and walk to Tintagel Castle. They have timed tickets, costing £13 per adult, which are available to book via their website ”

“The gardens are absolutely amazing and overlook Mounts Bay and St Micheals Mount. The gardens were once owned by the monks who lived on the mount. The current owners have really brought the gardens back to life including having permanent sculptures and guest works. There is a fantastic cafe and an art gallery as well.”

“No trip to Cornwall is complete without visiting the most southerly point. Over the years it has developed into more of a theme park with the 4D cinema, Arthur's Quest walk-though, the Aardman attraction and lots more, including the Magic In The Skies fireworks display during the summer. ”

“We have been here a few times (on special occasions as it is not cheap!) and have always had the tasting menu. The food is incredible, plus a lovely atmosphere and beautiful views over Watergate Bay. It is worth asking if they will be able to seat you by the window when you book, so you can make the most of the views.”

“We've visited this restaurant on several occasions its one of the best low key seafood restaurants in Falmouth. Great experience but they only take cash and you must book well in advance to secure a table, oh and be prepared to get your hands dirty. Shellfish only!”
