“A perfect spot for family and friends to hang out. With a playground for kids and an open pavilion. Trees for shade and often used to hammock. Downhill is the Bozeman library, and a short walk to the Pete’s hill hike trail.”

“The 60-acre Story Mill Community Park, recently acquired through the 2012 Trails, Open Space and Park bond fund, is being developed in partnership with the Trust for Public Land. The northern portion of the park will feature an adventure playground, picnic pavilions, scenic overlook, amphitheater, gardens, and a future community center (formerly the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Montana facility). The southern portion of the park will remain a natural area with restored wetlands accessible by trails and boardwalks with bird and wildlife watching opportunities”

“This is a great walk along a river through the forest, it gradually climbs uphill for almost 10 miles if you are up to the challenge on foot or on a bike is even better.”
