“Danish famous museum, one day trip by train or car. Would advise car. When you’re there go visit årstiderne, just a few 100 m across the museum. Google it. They have a cafe and you can buy organic food there. Two favorite places.”

“Eclectic architecture that rests beautifully by the water. After visit you can stroll along Norrmälarstrand and enjoy the paths along the water. Maybe stop at Mälarpaviljongen, an outdoor café/bar/restaurant by the water. Then continue and climb the bridge Västerbron for a magnifient view over the central waters of Stockholm. In the background you'll see the City Tower and Old Town.”

“The most popular art venue in Denmark, but they are not very popular with Danish artists as they are underpaid while exhibiting there. One was given a gift card to Aros gift shop as a remuneration... Still, it is a must visit for any art buff because of the exhibited international artists - who accidentally get paid very well. And if you are only into great views, you will find that too :)”

You can also just have a coffe or a drink at the resturants outside terrace. And also this is the start of the walk up to the Sculpture park of Ekeberg.”

“The star-shaped fortress of Kastellet was originally commissioned by Frederik III in 1662. Today, it is one of the most historically evocative sites in the city, its grassy ramparts and moat surrounding some beautiful 18th-century barracks, as well as a chapel occasionally used for concerts. On the ramparts is a historic windmill, and you get some excellent views of the harbour and Marmorkirken's Vatican-like dome.”

“ Visitors from all over the world drop around to admire the beauty of Tallinn, the best preserved medieval city in Northern Europe boasting Gothic spires, winding cobblestone streets and enchanting architecture. Once a home to wealthy merchants settling from Germany, Denmark and beyond, Tallinn Old Town today is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, with restaurants, bars, museums and galleries bringing much life to this historical city centre. Unlike many other capital cities in Europe, Tallinn has managed to wholly preserve its structure of medieval and Hanseatic origin. Due to its exceptionally intact 13th century city plan, the Old Town was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, joining the ranks of the world’s most recognised landmarks. Here you'll find original cobblestone streets dotted with medieval churches and grandiose merchant houses, barns and warehouses many of which date back to the Middle Ages. Spend a day in an authentic medieval milieu and you will soon realise why so many visitors have described Tallinn Old Town as mystical, mesmerising and addictive. ”
