KITCHEN :

The kitchen is furnished with a Neff oven and hob, new fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and everything you could possibly need in the way of cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and a range of basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper.

LIVING ROOM:

The living room has a large soft leather couch with fur throw and a comfortable ottoman seat. There is a new SMART flatscreen TV with Netflix, 2 cabinets with games and books inside, a cosy lamp, plants, traditional decorative fireplace and gold and marble drinks trolley.

Free superfast broadband wi-fi is provided.

We provide comfortable slippers for our guests!

DINING ROOM:

The dining room has comfortable seating and cushions for 5 people around an antique pine table surrounded by unique and commissioned artwork. There is a traditional decorative fireplace, plants, fur cushion and a floor lamp in this room. There is also a SMART voice-controlled speaker which guests can connect to using Bluetooth.

GARDEN

The rear garden is private and lawned, with shrubs, potted plants and subtle solar garden lighting. There are 2 areas to sit and enjoy the garden. The seating area at the bottom of the garden is shaded beneath mature trees and there is a raised open patio area beside the house.

Cushions for the outside chairs are kept within the ottoman seat in the living room.

SHOWER/ BATHROOM

A new white bathroom suite with instantly heated mains power shower.

Luxury fluffy bath and hand towels are provided along with a selection of toiletries and necessities, art work, plants, gold mirror and magnifying vanity mirror.

BEDROOMS / SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:

The master bedroom boasts a beautiful antique brass and iron bedstead, double sized with a deep luxury memory foam mattress, quality bedding and Egyptian cotton white bed linen. There is a raffles style dressing table/ chest of drawers with lamp, plants, books, artwork, fleece throw and soft velvet cushions. There is a bedside table with lamp and USB charging plug.

The second bedroom has 2 new soft fabric covered single divan beds which are 3 feet wide with large double quilts. The room features unique artwork, soft furnishings, plants and 'working from home’ desk beside a window with USB charging ports and desk lamp.

There are large mirrored wardrobes and traditional decorative fireplaces in both bedrooms one and two.

The large wardrobes house everything you could wish for in terms of provisions to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including:

- spare pillows and blankets
- clothes hangers
- first aid kit
- personal grooming, such as sewing kit, shoe polishing
- reusable shopping bags, umbrella, iron and ironing board
- plug socket converters (eg 2 pin to 3 pin)
- board games
- children’s toys and books

A baby travel cot, high-chair and bath are available at the house.

Additionally, there is a comfortable adult-sized single folding bed with mattress which can be set up in the twin bedroom for a 5th guest.

Premium quality bedding and white Egyptian cotton linen is provided for all beds including the 5th guest folding bed.

The house has been fully refurbished in Autumn 2021 and retains many of its unique period features and new furniture has been selected to provide comfort and reflect the style of a boutique style hotel, with some quirky art work and ornaments.

We have recently hosted a US television film crew who chose the property for a feature on stylish period homes in the Midlands area - for their popular house hunting programme!

Coventry is currently enjoying 'City of Culture' status and attention and its central suburb of Earlsdon is 'one of the top places to live’ (The Times, 2021). The townhouse is situated within walking distance of 2 beautiful parks and a local High Street in this very popular leafy suburb, with its unique cafes, restaurants, shops and bars and green spaces. All of these are within 5 minutes walking distance of the property.

More details:

The Memorial Park has large open grassy areas and paths popular with walkers, runners and cyclists. There are tennis courts and bowling greens, 'foot golf', rose gardens, a playground and skate park here as well as a park café. There is a park and ride hub here with bus travel into Coventry city centre. Also there is a bus route from the end of the road into the city centre and in the other direction, to Warwick University.

Earlsdon has its own local library, theatre, tennis club and golf club all within walking distance of the house, in this lovely historical area of the city. The High Street houses a post office, pharmacy, launderette, off-licence, opticians, florist, beauty spa, organic store, supermarket and several cafés, restaurants and bars.

There are doctor and dental surgeries within walking distance.

We are a family of six: mum, dad and four grown up children and 2 dogs!

We have spent many years living in the Earlsdon area, which we feel to be one of the most delightful communities with its open green spaces, excellent schools, many amenities and family-oriented lifestyle.

It is also conveniently situated, being so close to Warwick and Coventry university, major transport links to the motorway, train stations, and of course the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Airport, one of the largest airports in the UK outside of London.

We are very focused on family, and enjoy a good homecooked meal with the company of good friends and our extended family.

We enjoy art, music and culture and like to keep fit and travel, having spent time abroad in Europe, Asia and the US. We both speak a little French and German and we enjoy practising our language skills!

We are passionate about property refurbishment and interior design and we are always looking to create special environments and wonderful experiences for all our guests. Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a family coming here on holiday, you're visiting loved ones in the area, want to work at home somewhere new or you are working in the area and need a comfortable base with all mod cons, perhaps you just fancy an escape to explore somewhere new and unique - everyone is welcome here and pets are very welcome at the townhouse!
