This A-Frame was renovated in 2021 in the style of European bonhomie with the goal of creating the ideal space for relaxation, comfort, and recharging. The home sits on 800 running feet of a private river on 2 acres and the home has all the comforts on the inside; radiant floor heating, a reading nook, a large open first floor, and more!

The A-Frame has a brand-new gourmet kitchen w/GE Cafe Appliances, a large butcher block island, a cappuccino Machine with a Frother, a farm sink, and an inviting media area with two twins to pull out beds/couches face a sliding glass door that leads out to the River Rapid Views and the full-back deck with a BBQ, chairs, and seasonal landscaping. Upstairs features two large bedrooms-a master suite in the back of the 2nd floor with an egg-shaped bathtub w/ a full bathroom, a Queen Bed that has a private deck w/ views of the river. The river has a lovely swimming hole in the summer months and the rapids can be fun to ride through on an innertube. The winter months have their own allure-fires inside or in the fire pit as you watch the sunset over the river.

In the middle of Hawley and Honesdale next to Lake Wallenpaupack. This area is full of wonderful wildlife and winding country roads (sometimes together so drive slowly; the world famous Woodlach Spa is a 10 minutes drive.Close to shopping in Hawley, Honesdale or over the border in Historic Narrowsgate this unique home is ideally situated for those looking for down time and some fun day trips. This home is a 10 minute drive from the Famous Woodlach Spa!

As a family we love travel. Our son has over 60,000 miles on him throughout the US already and he is only 9! My husband is from Tuscon and I am a philly Native. I grew up in Rittenhouse Square and have lived in almost every neighborhood in Philly!

We use airbnb's all over the world and enjoy sharing our city with the world by adding local insight for our guests stay in our beloved Queen Village neighborhood. I adore my hometown and know that anyone coming to visit will love its warm people, yummy diverse food and the people watching on Fabric Row where our units are located. This little slice of Philly has amazing history as the place that all Philadelphians used to shop for Fabric starting in the late 19th Century. Now, it is all about funky shops, cool restaurants and some one of a kind galleries. Queen Village is known for being kid friendly with over 4 parks in the area, over 7 pizza restaurants (at last count!) and more. If you need any local suggestions or help planning just ask me for help! It would be my pleasure to share.

We are driven to create an uber clean, stylish and well located unit for all of our guests. Each unit is cleaned top to bottom (even the fan blades-EVERY time) so that each space is pristine. We provide first aid kits for our guests, we change the water filters in our fridges quarterly, each unit is repainted every quarter, any carpeting is professionally cleaned quarterly and all HVAC's are serviced every season.

We are full time professional hosts who care for each of our guests. Each of our units are unique in design with touches we feel add to your comfort. We employ a handyman to help with any issues (if you have any!) during a stay...Once he fished out a necklace from a sink for a guest!
