The beautiful Holua Resort at the Mauna Loa Village is a bungalow-style condo complex and provides a relaxing atmosphere with lots of onsite and nearby amenities including six pools and spas, tennis courts, and fitness center. Adjacent to the resort is a championship 18 hole golf course, and the Keahou shopping center is a five minute drive. The two bedroom suite provides 1,120 sq ft. of living space. These large units feature full kitchens, living/dining areas and expansive balcony/lanai.

The Holua Resort at The Mauna Loa Village has a 4.6 out of 5.0 rating on Expedia and a 4.5 out of 5.0 on TripAdvisor. Enjoy six swimming pools and spas, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, fitness center, and various on-site activities.

All units have a living area with dining table, full kitchen, patio or balcony, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, in-room clothes washer/dryer, sofa sleeper in the living room and full bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed. For the second bedroom, you can request either a king bedroom or two twin beds (pending availability). Please let me know what dates you are interested in and I will check on the availability.

Please note:
1) Buildings are two stories with no elevators.
2) All units have same features and size, but room location, patio views and decor may vary based on which ever unit is available at the time of check-in.

I have been an owner of Shell Vacations Time Share properties for over 10 years and the Holua Resort being one property owned by Shell Vacations Club. You will check in just like at any hotel. This is a timeshare unit and it's fully transferable so I will be booking the nights under your name. I will email you the reservation confirmation document from the timeshare company showing the reservation being under your name.

- Guests are subject to the Hawaii Timeshare Occupancy Tax at a rate of ~$10.00 per night at check-out (payable directly to the Holua Resort)
- Air conditioning is optional at a rate of $11.03 per night (payable directly to the Holua Resort)
- Standard credit card hold (refundable deposit) will apply for incidentals ($100)

To ensure your safety and the safety of others, the following COVID precautions have been put in place at the Holua Resort:
- House cleaning will not come into the room but you can contact the front desk and they can provide you with replacement towels/wash clothes/kleenex/etc (they will leave at your door).
- Guests may be required to wear a mask when checking in and walking in the common areas of the hotel throughout the stay.:
- International travelers into Hawaii will need to follow the International Travel requirements as outlined on the Hawaii COVID 19 website. Some International travelers will be subject to adhering to Safe Travels Requirements to bypass quarantine. Please check the website for the travel requirements. At time of check-in, international travelers may be asked by the front desk to provide proof they are not subject to the mandatory 10 day quarantine. Guests will not be able to check in if they were not approved to bypass quarantine when arriving at the airport.

Guests will be required to adhere to any COVID-19 rules/regulations set forth by the State of Hawaii, City of Kona, and/or Holua Resort.

Since the Holua Resort is a timeshare property, you may be invited to a presentation. There is no obligation for you to attend, and suggest you politely decline to maximize your time while visiting the Big Island.

- Tenants shall use and maintain the Resort in a careful and lawful manner and shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy other tenants. The Tenant affirms they will follow all policies and rules of the resort, as notified upon arrival and occupancy of the unit, including check-out time, as many resorts assess a fee for late check-out.

- Under no circumstance will the Tenant permit pets of any kind in the unit.

- The Tenant accepts all responsibilities for any damages to the unit or Resort property during the rental period by Tenant or Tenant's guests.

- The Tenant hereby indemnifies and holds the Owner harmless against any and all claims of personal health/sickness, injury or property damage or loss of any kind arising from use of the Resort regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss
