We are located in the hills of central VT, close to good hiking, skiing and swimming. Our homestead is based in permaculture landscape design. Unwind in the traditional Finnish Sauna, relax by the living pool, or kick back in an Adirondack chair looking out at the hills of VT. No cleaning fee! This is one of three listings at our place. We can accommodate groups of six by booking: 4 season Lower Yurt Stay on VT Small Farm and Upper Yurt on VT Homestead

We have just about completed the tiny house project and are opening it up for a cabin farm stay experience. Modeled after Thoreau's cabin on Walden pond it offers a remote feeling space with easy accessibility. The tiny house is insulated and built for four season comfort. There are a few trim details yet to be done but the space is very inviting. It is located 40yds from the parking area and 40 yds away from our house next to our annual veggie gardens. In the summer months there is a green screen of plants, crab trees and a micro pear orchard that creates privacy and separation from the farm house. The tiny house is flanked on the south side by a set of four tart cherry trees and cow pasture, with the front porch and deck overlooking the hills. The sauna and living pool, and outdoor shower are a mere 100yds from the tiny house making a place to relax and lounge in the warm weather.
- There is enough electricity to charge your devices and run the mini fridge in the tiny house.
-Lights are provided by a plug in light/christmas lights.
-In winter, water comes from a 20 gallon gravity feed tank. For summer there is a three season water line that will hook to the tiny house.
-There is a cooking set up is on a Coleman propane camp stove.
- We provide the basics for cooking ( pots pan cups, bowls, mugs, french press cheap plastic wine glasses ect..)
- The outhouse composting toilet. bucket and bin system. It is located south of the tiny house.
The space is Heated by a propane heater on a thermostat keeping the tiny house oh so cozy.
-The sleeping loft has a queen mattress in it with a three inch latex bed topper, along with duvet, and pillows. And sheets provided
-There is an outdoor shower on the back of our house that runs for three seasons, and is shut down in the winter.

Randolph, Vermont, Bandaríkin

We are 12 miles north of Randolph VT, which has an Amtrak stop. The greyhound bus stops in Montpelier 1/2hr from our place. Burlington International Airport is 1 hr from our location. Our place is several miles out on a dirt road and backs up to the Roxbury state forests. It has beautiful views of the small valley of West Brookfield. The closest grocery and gas station is in Randolph or Northfield VT, around 10 miles away. Brookfield is famous for its Floating Bridge, which is 15 minutes away by car. There are two renown Restaurants within 20 minuets of our place. Ariel's in Brookfield, across the famous floating bridge, and the Black Krim Tavern in down town Randolph. Both feature farm to plate fare. The mountains of Vermont are in our backyard with swimming holes, hiking, and kayaking and skiing close by. Camels hump is 35 minutes away and has been a favorite hiking spot for our guests. We are 40 minutes from Stowe and access to Smugglers Notch and Mt Mansfield, which has gondola rides in the summer and an access road to drive to the top. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are 45 minutes to 1 hour away. We are just north of Killington which is 50 minutes away.
