Located in the heart of the very desirable West Highlands neighborhood of Northwest Denver, this 1889 stone carriage house is full of charm, character and the distinction of a complete remodel in 2016 and a repaint in 2020. Charm galore thanks to period finishes like subway tile, vintage-style lighting and quality furnishings. Central skylight and large new windows provide beautiful natural light and wonderful cross breeze (also has AC)
- This property is very clean and hypoallergenic. There has never been smoking or pets, and all bedding is down-alternative.
- Professional cleaning (and sheet changing) is provided free 1x every month for multi-month stays

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- We keep the space allergy free. Please, no pets or smoking.
- Additional Professional Cleaning for Free! (for rentals a week or longer) - happens after every week of your stay and includes linen refreshing.
- 10+ stairs required to access home (See picture of stairs in listing photos).
- COVID-19 update: rooms are being sanitized between guests with a professional cleaning crew AND air sanitizers (e.g. 38W Germicidal & Ozone Sterilizer Lamps). Furnace air filters are electrostatically charged Honeywell FPR 12 filters that filter down to the microparticle level, filtering out "microscopic allergens, virus carriers, mold, bacteria, pollen and VOCs."

This unit was remodeled with extra attention paid to sound barriers, including new high-end windows and extra insulation between floors (owner has a home office and a garage under the carriage house). Please note that the carriage house overlooks the alley, so there will be some noise from occasional cars and city garbage pick-up on Wednesdays (usually around 9am). This is in an urban location so neighbors or kids might be heard in their backyards (that being said, we have relationships with all our neighbors and have never had to address noise problems with anyone). This is a lively, diverse neighborhood with families, singles, and couples, so all lifestyles may be represented

EASY BIKE, E-SCOOTER, BUS RIDE OR LONG WALK: Downtown Denver is 1.9 miles away and can be reached with a 15 minute bike/scooter ride (there are 3 e-scooter & e-bike services that blanket the neighborhood), two bus lines (28B and 32) that come by every :15, a $8 one-way ride-sharing trip or a 25-40 minute walk to many similar amenities including: Mile High Stadium (1.1 miles), Denver Aquarium and Denver Children’s Museum (1.4 miles), 6 Flags Elitch Gardens & Pepsi Center – for Nuggets and Avalanche games and many concerts (1.6 miles), Contemporary Art Museum (1.6 miles), Coors Field (2.3 miles) and the Colorado Convention Center (2.4 miles)
