The biggest double room with fan and shared bathroom in the cozy, relaxed guesthouse with artsy vibe. Perfect for you who work when travelling or don't like busy hostels - you'll feel like home here.

Eignin
Luwabica is filled with art and unique oldschool things. Most of the furnitures are made from the wooden pallets, bamboo and whatever else they consider trash.

The house consists of four private rooms - most of the time it's rather quiet.

This room is the biggest one, has a queen size bed with comfy mattrass, mosquito net and insect screens in the windows, fan, small cabinet and a mirror.

We have wifi (pretty fast for Indonesian standards), two shared bathrooms (both equipped with shower, one even with hot water - but it has limited capacity, so in case everyone decides to take a shower at the same time, it might be not enough for everyone - hot water is a luxury in Indonesia!), kitchen with fridge and stove in case you wanna cook. There is also a mini soccer/billiard table.

Everyone's favourite spot is the small backyard behind the house where you can chill in the hammock and have a beer. Upstairs you'll find a small library, a perfect spot to hide with a book or laptop.

Aðgengi gesta
The whole common space is for your use, but you'll be sharing it with another guests - it can be up to 6 other people.

Mineral water and tea is free and available anytime, we also have kopi luwak from our own, small and sustainable production available at extra charge - 60.000 rupiah per cup. You can also buy them all in beans to take home as a gift :)

Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indónesía

Luwabica is located in the quiet street near the city centre, in the residential area, but close enough to most of the tourist attractions. Taman Sari (water castle), Kraton, Jalan Malioboro for shopping as well as Jl. Prawirotaman with plenty of good restaurants are all 15-30 min on foot from here. There is also a supermarket, laundries and many places where you can get cheap street food or massage.
It's the best location for art lovers - many art galleries are just a short walk away.

I'm Emi, Polish living in Indonesia since 2013. Most of the year based in Yogya, but travelling around a lot too. Name "Luwabica" comes from the combination of "luwak" and "arabica" and it's own coffee brand. Kopi luwak is known as the most expensive and luxurious coffee in the world, yet its production process is not always ethical. Our goal is to educate people to buy only coffee from the good source - unlike most of kopi luwak produced in Indonesia, this one comes from wild animals only.

If I'm in Yoygakarta, I'll shortly meet you at the check in, but I'm also always available on WhatsApp if there's anything you might need :) When I'm away, my friend takes care of the space and guests.
We can help you to organize your holidays, book trips, rent a motorbike, call a taxi. I made an interactive map of Jogja with favourite spots (restaurants, street food, places to hang out) around the city - you'll get the link to it after booking.
