You'll love our petite clifftop apartment minutes from cosmopolitan Southbourne High Street, one of Bournemouth's most sought after areas, with it's abundance of trendy bars and eateries, right by the best part of the beach and close to stunning Hengistbury Head, Christchurch, Sandbanks, Studland, the beautiful Purbecks and the New Forest. Refurbished in 2019 to a very high standard.

We'll give you our own recommendations for our personal favourite bars and restaurants in Southbourne, Bournemouth and the surrounding area's and some ideas for great experiences and days out to make sure you fall in love with this special part of the world just as we did.

We frequently stay in AirBnB's and so have carefully considered every aspect of your stay, from ensuring you have the kitchen staples that properties so frequently forget, to an array of toiletries, luxurious carpets, 1000 thread count cotton bed linen, White Company bath robes, Soak & Sleep 750gsm Supima towels, plus beds, bedding and seating chosen for comfort as well as style. WiFi is of course included and the TV's have free Netflix and on-demand TV only. One of the bedrooms can be configured with either two small single beds or a double bed.

Living room: Comfortable two seater Sofa Workshop sofa with two armchairs, coffee table, 55 inch HD smart TV with Netflix and on-demand TV, bluetooth speaker, floor lamp for mood lighting, board games and various local travel guides to give you some idea's for days out. Foreign adapter plugs and charging cables are available.

Kitchen area: Induction hob, electric oven, carbon filtered extractor fan, large belfast sink with cover for additional work surface area, toaster, Le Creuset kettle, teapot, French coffee press, large selection of cooking utensils, knife set, crockery, cutlery, glassware, tea towels, washing up liquid, hand soap, tea, filter coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper, breakfast cereal and pasta with sauces in cases you arrive late. The kitchen area adjoins the living room.

Utility: Full length fridge freezer with water filter, 4 trays, Brabantia ironing board & iron, stepladder, fire extinguisher, Dyson handheld hoover, mop, dustpan and brush, foil, cling film & kitchen roll, pots, pans, cookware, tupperware, colander, milk frother and reusable shopping bags for you to use if you buy groceries during your stay.

Bedroom One: One double bed, two bedside tables with lamps, hanging rail with hangers, chest of drawers, an alarm clock, smart TV with Netflix and on-demand TV, two White Company toweling robes and two Soak&Sleep Supima 750gsm bath sheets and hand towels. You'll find a powerful hairdryer in the drawers, along with some microfibre beach towels.

Bedroom Two: One double bed which can also be configured as two small single beds, two bedside tables, large mirrored double wardrobe with hangers, an alarm clock, smart TV with Netflix and on-demand TV, two White Company toweling robes and two Soak&Sleep Supima 750gsm bath sheets and hand towels. You'll find a powerful hairdryer in the wardrobe, along with some microfibre beach towels and a folding beach canopy for those days when a bit of shade is needed.

Bathroom: Roll-top claw foot bath with shower screen, rain-head shower and bath shower attachment, sink with mirror and magnifying mirror, toilet, towel hanging hooks and shelving, silicon toilet brush, bleach and sanitary bin. Shampoo, conditioner, face wash, body wash, bath salts, hand wash, hand lotion and body lotion are all included.

Please note this is a lower ground floor apartment so there are stairs down from ground level after entering.

Check in from 3pm and check out by 11am. The property has it's own entrance from outside.

The apartment is in a converted residential block - there are neighbours who work during the day, including us, so we ask that you limit noise in the evenings and at night. No parties, no filming, no loud music, no smoking, no pets and no additional visitors should be invited in to the apartment. The toilet and water drainage works on a sump-pump system so nothing other than toilet paper should be flushed and no hot fat should be poured in the sinks as this can result in serious damage to the property and other apartments.

Southbourne is an absolute gem within Bournemouth - it has some of the most expensive real estate in the area and with good reason, it's right by the best part of the beach and ideal for an evening out.

We love Makla for fantastic Moroccan food, Renouf's for their great selection of wine, their tasting flights as well as their delicious platters of meats and award winning cheeses, Baffi for authentic Neopolitan pizza and Roots for a fine dining experience. Deli Rocks do great Italian sandwiches, pizza and coffee during the day.

For cocktails in a gentleman's club style bar we head to The Library above the Larderhouse (call ahead to reserve a table) or for craft ales and ciders we go to the very friendly Wight Bear. If we want a proper pub, The Spyglass & Kettle is lively when the sun's out and only a few minutes walk away or the Brewhouse & Kitchen which has a brewery on site - both have live music at weekends sometimes. Bistro on the Beach is nice for sitting outside with a glass of wine right on the beach and The Riverside, just outside Southbourne overlooks the river Stour.

There are plenty more bars and restaurants in Southbourne such as the newly opened Dicky's bistro, Terroir Tapas and The Way Outback Brewing Company but we're only comfortable recommending places we've been to. However the vibe in Southbourne is always relaxed and very friendly.

Hengistbury Head is just gorgeous for a beach walk whilst Tuckton and Wick are perfect for Riverside walks or paddle boarding.

Bournemouth beach gets incredibly busy whilst the beaches at Southbourne are much quieter but still with plenty of facilities or walk towards Hengistbury for wilder beaches with views to the Isle of Wight.
