The cabin has all the modern conveniences you love, featuring a spacious living area with a fireplace, luxurious bedding, a stylish fully equipped kitchen, and a furnished wraparound deck. The cabin is perfect for hosting your family gatherings and friends on a well-deserved vacation. After a long day at the lake, head out to the deck to fire up the gas grill for a cookout. Outdoor seating is abundant with rocking chairs, comfortable cushion sofas and chairs as well as a hammock for those afternoon naps. This cabin is wonderful for those family cookouts or roasting marshmallows. A large hot tub is ready for your enjoyment (helping you get into vacation mode).

This cabin gives you plenty of privacy and has lots of thoughtful touches, it is only three miles to downtown Blue Ridge where you will find plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions to enjoy. Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery is a short drive from the cabin, just under two miles, if the adults want to enjoy some wine tasting. If guests prefer cider or apple picking, Mercier Orchards provides year-round fun (and fried pies) just under three miles from the cabin. The Lake Blue Ridge Marina offers pontoon boat rentals for lake fun just under six miles away.

This agreement constitutes a contract between the Guest(s) and Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals. Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals acts as the agent and representative of all owners of rental cabins in our rental program, and is acting at all times, in and for the best interest of the owners. Please read, complete, and submit/scan/fax/e-mail this agreement within 3 days of receipt. The deposit has been processed on your credit card. Thank you! The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. We will process final payment on the credit card we have on file unless notified otherwise in advance. Please keep in mind we are not able to accept checks on the day of arrival. We accept cash, credit, or debit.
CHECK-IN - Check in time is 4 p.m. or after, and check out time is 11 a.m. unless other arrangements have been made Codes are not valid until 4 p.m. or until the rental cabin is ready for occupancy. Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals will make every effort to have the cabin ready by check in time; however, we cannot guarantee the exact time of occupancy. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available upon request if the schedule permits. Please call our office for information.
RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS – 1/3 of the total rental fee in advance of the arrival date and a signed Rental Policy Agreement is required to secure a reservation. Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Money Orders, Cashier Checks and personal checks drawn on U.S. Banks. (If securing with a check, it must be received within 3 days after booking has been made or the reservation will be cancelled). Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals will not accept checks on reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival. The balance of rental fee is due 30 days prior to arrival with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, cashier`s check, or money order. Please reference reservation dates and cabin name when sending check or money order.
PROPERTY TRANSFER – Should the property selected by a Guest become unavailable through the sale of premises or other disposition or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the rental MLCR, MLCR may transfer the reservation to the best available, comfortable accommodations.
AGE AND RESPONSIBILITY – The Guest entering into the rental agreement must be present during the entire stay. Specifically, no parent, grandparent, or other person may enter into the rental agreement and allow persons under the age of 25 to occupy the property without the person signing the rental agreement to be present and supervise. By signing this lease agreement Guest acknowledges they are 25 (or older) and are bound by all City and State laws. The state of Georgia holds the Guest responsible for any underage drinking or damages. As Guest signing rental agreement is required to be present during the duration of the stay, Guest will be deemed as providing alcohol to minors and will be subject to prosecution under the laws of the state of Georgia. THE PERSON BOOKING THE CABIN MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD, MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES, AND MUST BE EITHER THE PERSON, OR SPOUSE OF THE PERSON, WHOSE NAME APPEARS ON THE CREDIT CARD AND MUST BE THE PERSON THAT SIGNS THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.
VEHICLE ACCESS – Most properties are easily accessed in standard vehicles. Due to mountainous roads and limited parking guests may not be able to access properties with trailers, U-Hauls, motor homes, or on motorcycles. Guests should verify property access and parking before booking.
CANCELLATION– A $35.00 administration fee is assessed for any cancellations or cabin/date changes. However, if Guest(s) cancels less than thirty (30) days prior to their arrival date there will be NO REFUND. For a refund of deposit, cancellations must be in writing and sent by certified mail 30 days prior to arrival date to: Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals 282 West Main Street Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We recommend purchasing travel insurance through CSA if you believe there is any possibility of cancellation or interruption during your trip. Travel insurance must be purchased at the time of booking or before the final payment is processed. For more information on travel insurance, contact CSA at 866-999-4018.
NO SHOW POLICY – The total amount of the reservation will be charged.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – Each cabin states a maximum occupancy requirement that is set per property, not to be exceeded, based on insurance, septic, and fire marshal regulations.
RETURNED CHECKS – A $35.00 service charge will be incurred for any returned checks.
GUEST SERVICES INCLUDES: • Reservation and Credit Card processing • After-hours emergency service • Free lock-out service • Accidental Damage Protection Fee- Each reservation is charged a non-refundable fee equal to 10% of total nightly rate for a Damage Protection Waiver. This waiver is designed to protect you from charges due to accidental damage only. The DPF can provide up to $500.00 to repair accidental damages (beyond normal wear and tear). If any damages surpass $500.00, additional charges will be applied to the credit card on file and written documentation will be sent to the Guest(s) of record. If damages are determined to be caused by the willful misconduct, misuse, or pets; the Damage Protection Waiver will be voided on the grounds of intentional act(s), gross negligence, willful and wanton conduct by Guest(s) or Licensee of Guest(s), or visitor. These occurrences will result in the Guest(s) credit card on file being charged in full for any damages and management fees. The waiver does not cover any additional management fees or fines. ALL ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE MUST BE REPORTED TO THE MOUNTAIN LAUREL CABIN RENTALS OFFICE BEFORE GUEST DEPARTURE TO QUALIFY FOR PROTECTION.
SECURITY DEPOSIT- Mountain Laurel Cabin Rental’s reserves the right to charge a security deposit for any neglect misuse or damages to property. The fee will be charged on the primary credit card or any other type of credit card provided for payment for any damages incurred during the duration of the rental and/or additional cleaning fees. Guest(s) shall leave the premises in clean, neat and undamaged condition. All cooking and eating utensils must be washed and put away. All garbage must be put in trash bags and placed in the garbage cans. No food left in the refrigerator. Furniture is not to be moved. Items in cabin are not to be removed from the premises. A check out instruction are located in the Guest Welcome Book. After guest(s) have checked out the cabin is inspected to confirm it is clean, neat and in an undamaged condition and no items found missing If extra cleaning is required, or damages or theft occur, your credit card will be charged. You will be advised of any and all charges.
CONFIRMATION – This agreement serves as confirmation of your reservation. It will be emailed to you upon receipt of your payment. Please read the confirmation for accuracy of reservation dates. Occupancy is limited to the allowed number of persons allowed in the cabin. If more than the allowed is found to have stayed additional charges and/or an extra cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card.
LEGAL JURISDICTION– This agreement shall be construed, interpreted, and the rights of the parties determined in accordance with and governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflicts of laws principles. It is expressly agreed and stipulated that this Agreement is deemed to have been made and to be performable in Fannin County, Georgia. Any action or proceeding seeking to enforce any provision of, or based on any right arising out of, this Agreement, and/or related to a contract or tort claim shall be brought against any of the parties in the courts of the State of Georgia, County of Fannin, and each of the parties consents to the jurisdiction of such courts (and of the appropriate appellate courts) in any such action or proceeding and waives any objection to venue laid therein. Process in any action or proceeding referring to in the proceeding sentence may be served on any party anywhere in the world. If Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals must obtain legal advice or counsel for matters arising from payment discrepancy involving a guest or payment vendor such as a credit card company, Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals will seek rightful payment or collection on behalf of Owner. If disputes are transferred from Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals management to a collection team, guest of record will become responsible for all charges proved to be their responsibility in a court of law. Guest payment may not be held in escrow. Escrow funds may be subject to certain repurchase agreements.
INCLEMENT WEATHER – It is the Guest(s) responsibility to monitor the weather and road conditions prior to arrival. Guest may contact the office to inquire about conditions understanding that the agent cannot predict the weather or road conditions throughout the region. Road conditions can change quickly and/or remain impassible for extended periods of time. If weather forecasts indicate snow, sleet, freezing rain, high winds, heavy rainfall or thunderstorms during your stay we strongly recommend you stock up on extra groceries & toiletries, trash bags extra flashlights, non-perishable foods, bottle water, toilet paper, diapers, and medication. None of our cabins are equipped with back-up generators should a power outage occur. Also, watch local reports (Chattanooga stations are typically more accurate for our area weather) to gauge how the weather will impact your scheduled check in or check out. a. If guest becomes “held over”, the nightly rate will be charged for each additional night b. It will become the Guest(s) responsibility to pay for any additional services requested. c. Guest(s) arriving during this period and checking in understands they are proceeding at their own risk and should make the proper arrangements. d. Guest(s) who does not show, turn around, or depart early will be voluntarily forfeiting the reservation.
ACCESS CODES – The code that you receive on the day of your arrival is your personal access key code for the duration of your stay. There will be a $25 charge for any lock box keys that are returned to the office upon check out (if your cabin has a key it is to be
RETURNED TO THE LOCK BOX AT THE PROPERTY; a $75 charge will be added to the card on file if the property key is lost. When checking out only lock the keypad, otherwise a $25 charge will ensue to have the door knob unlocked.
DIRECTIONS - The directions to the cabin will be emailed to you a day before arrival. Please follow these directions as most cabins are in the mountains and GPS does not always work.
TELEVISION – All cabins are privately owned and have different subscription packages for Satellite, cable, Roku, Netflix or Fire Stick TV. Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals does not guarantee any programs or events. TELEPHONE- Some cabins provide land line telephones for locals only. If your cabin has a telephone, the phone number should be listed on the directions to the cabin give to you at check-in. Cell phone service can sporadic in the mountains.
LINENS AND SUPPLIES – bed linens: 1 appropriately sized sheet set per advertised sleeping area – 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 2 pillow cases (1 pillow case for twin beds). Bath towels: 2 bath towels, 2 wash clothes, per guest, and 1 hand towel per bathroom. Kitchen towels: 1 dish towel, 1 dish cloth, and 1 oven mitt. Each cabin is stocked with an initial supply of 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, 8 trash bags, 4 dishwasher tabs, travel size bottle of Dawn, and a travel size bar of soap per bathroom. If number of towels or supplies provided are not sufficient please make arrangements to bring extra.
FIREPLACES – Most cabins have fireplaces or wood stoves. Wood is provided free of charge for indoor fireplaces only for your convenience. Please be considerate when burning the wood. Do not use stacked firewood for the fire pits at the cabins. We recommend bringing a starter log if your cabin has a wood burning fireplace. Moving any gas logs located in gas log fireplaces could result in carbon monoxide poisoning! Do not move or tamper with the gas logs or put anything in the gas log fireplaces. Fireplaces are operable from October 1st – April 15th only.
BARBEQUE GRILLS – Charcoal is NOT provided for cabins with charcoal grills. Propane IS provided for gas grills.
SMOKING– Smoking is not permitted in any of our cabins. Outside smoking is permitted but please do not litter.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE – By Georgia Law, no drinking of alcoholic beverages by person under the legal age of 21 is allowed.
DOGS – Some of our cabins are Dog friendly; however, you must notify us at the time a reservation is made if you plan to bring your dog. There is a non-refundable $30.00 per pet fee. Guests are completely responsible and liable for any damage, caused by their dog(s), to the cabin and its premises during their stay. All Dogs should be kenneled during your absence at the cabin. Dogs are not allowed on bedding or furniture, and must be contained in crate or cage if left unattended at the cabin. If evidence of dogs are found in cabins where dogs are not allowed, a security deposit will be charged for excessive cleaning and for failure to comply with rules of this agreement.
REPAIRS DURING RENTAL PERIOD – Even the best or newest equipment occasionally malfunctions and cannot be guaranteed 100% of the time. MLCR does not guarantee compensation for equipment malfunctions.
TAX EXEMPT RESERVATONS – Cabins located in Georgia can provide tax exemption on their nightly rate for Guests with a valid tax exempt certificate. (1.) The reservation must be made in a group name (2) Payment must be made by a form of payment showing the group name (i.e. credit card or check with group name) (3) The group name on the tax exempt certificate must match all of the above. Request for tax-exemption must be made at the time of booking.
REFUNDS – or rate adjustments are not made for any inconvenience due to mechanical or appliance failure, road repairs, early departures, delayed arrival or reducing the number of nights reserved with less than 30 days’ notice. No refunds due to inclement weather.
BOOKING AGENCIES – 3rd party booking sites, such as, Airbnb, Trip Advisor, HomeAway, and are NOT ELIGIBLE for PROMOTIONS offered by Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals.
MISCELLANEOUS - Candles, fireworks, and other burning items are not permitted at any time. The use of any type of Fire Arm is NOT allow at any cabin. FIRE-PITS- Some cabins have outdoor fire pits. Please verify with Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals before use that no restrictions have been made. Example: During dry season, or county burn ban is in effect.
PET LEASH LAW - Our area does not have a leash law so it i very likely you will see a dog or cat passing by your cabin. Please refrain from playing with the animal or feeding it.
HOT TUBS – The hot tub has been prepared for your arrival. The rules are posted. Please read and follow them. Use at your own risk. Children under the age of 18 must have adult supervision. No bubble bath, salts, or soaps of any kind allowed in the hot tub. No Pets allowed in Hot Tubs . Please do not sit on the hot tub cover or put your knees on the control panel. Never elevate heat over 104 degrees. All of our Hot Tub are drained, cleaned and refilled after each reservation.
LOST & FOUND - Any personal items left in the cabin can be mailed to you at your request for a fee of $20.00 plus shipping charges. We will charge your credit card linked to the reservation. Any items left over 30 days will be donated to charity.
QUIET ENJOYMENT - No weddings, house parties, loud, drunken, or unruly behavior will be allowed. Anyone consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age or older. No illegal activities or substances. Guest shall not disturb or offend any neighbors, discharge any firearms, pellet guns, or BB guns or use fireworks of any kind in accordance with State of Georgia and Fannin / Gilmer County laws. Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals owners/management have the right to deny rental or have guest(s) removed at any time, with no refunds, if we feel the property is not being used in a manner that is appropriate. All rental cabins are leased without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap.
ATV’S/OFF ROAD VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES – No ATV or Off Road Vehicles or Motorcycles are allowed. All of our cabins have restrictions for ATV’s or off road vehicles or motorcycles
PROPERTY DAMAGE - Guest are solely responsible for any property damage, accident or injury to any person or loss sustained by any person, including loss of money, jewelry and other items of personal property, arising out of or in any way related to Guest(s) use of the premises or the items of personal property provided by cabin owners and Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals. Guest(s) shall inspect and be familiar with proper use and application of such items prior to using them. Guest(s) hereby agrees to indemnify and hold owners and Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals harmless from any and all claims including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to Guest(s) use of premises or the items of personal property provided therein. Guest(s) assumes the risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities and will hold owner and its agents harmless. Any complaint or concerns by a Guest(s) should be immediately submitted to our Guest Relations Committee by emailing, All complaints will be reviewed by our Guest Relations Committee and their recommendations will be emailed back to the guest with 5 days.

If I fail to do so, I understand that these costs will be charged to my credit card and all credit card sales are final. By signing below, I agree to all terms listed on the previous pages of this agreement. I gave Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals authorization by phone to charge my credit card for the deposit, and any additional charges as per the agreement.
