Well-equipped single room, with private en-suite bathroom. Flat-screen TV and WiFi in the room, as well as your own coffee machine. Very neat bathroom with bath (and shower head over bath).

Eignin
As a room in a small village hotel, you'll have access to common spaces for guests, such as our dining area, TV lounge and bar. Unfortunately, kitchen access is not available.

Historically beautiful, our building dates back to the 19th century, and once served as the town fire station! You will also find heritage plaques near our guest entrance - where guests can have direct access up to their rooms without needing to enter through the lobby or public spaces.

North Berwick is well-known for its numerous top-class golf courses, with the closest being right across the road. Famous for its sandy beaches, and stunning, rugged coastline, it's a popular destination for discerning travellers - while still only being 30 minutes from Edinburgh. Being right in town, you are only a short stroll from a wonderful mix of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

I'm an entrepreneur through and through, with a love for teaching as well. I've run my own businesses since I was a teenager, and I'm now able to combine my passions by teaching business and finance courses online, through a prestigious international university.

This also gives me the freedom to travel - widely! I take a 'sabbatical' every year, where I spend 4-6 weeks in a country I've never been to before - living like the locals, and soaking up the culture and surrounds. Languages are a true passion for me as well - I'm currently decent in five of them, and am working on another two as we speak ;)

As a guest, I'm eternally curious - about the local community, lifestyle, politics, economics, you name it. As a host, I aim to be the easy-going, friendly guy who also happens to be a database of local suggestions and logistics. Myself and my better half pride ourselves on our adaptability, so always feel free to ask away, no matter the question!

Our team will be available from breakfast (starting at 7:30am) until downstairs closes at 10pm. After this time, guests can let themselves in the side entrance with no time restrictions.
