Eignin
When Captain Matthew Flinders first sailed into the pristine waters of Pumicestone passage in 1799, he must have thought he was in paradise. He appropriately named the perfect white sandy beach where he pulled up his boat, 'White Patch'.

The property is just a few meters from that same historic landing spot which is just as unspoiled today as it was over 200 years ago

White Patch, Queensland, Ástralía

Why settle for a tiny hotel room when you, your family, your friends or your associates can relax endlessly in the comfort and style of a private Mansion set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, 100ft Bribie pine trees and 180 degree views of the most beautiful expanse of water in Australia, Pumicestone Passage.

You've come to the right place to relax.
Take your breakfast on the western veranda and watch the sunrise over Bribie Island's wilderness, nearly 60 square kilometres of National park teeming with Emus and Kangaroos.

Take your evening meal on the Eastern Veranda or on the passage foreshore and witness one of the most magnificent sights in creation, the sun setting over the passage and disappearing behind the incomparable Glasshouse Mountain range

If you are escaping urban life then there is nowhere more appropriate. There are times when the absolute silence and immense space of this rural retreat can be surreal. It may take you a few days to adjust to the quiet open spaces of the passage and the beautiful 100ft tall Bribie pines that look down at you from centuries past.

Bribie Island is home to an amazing array of wildlife - dolphin, dugong and turtle cruise the calm waters of the Pumicestone Passage with the majestic Glass House Mountains as the backdrop. Over 300 species of birds visit the island each year, roosting in the trees along the foreshore and feasting along the sand flats.

Idyllic Pacific Harbour Golf Course is just a few meters from White Patch Paradise and has recently been voted the best public access golf course in Queensland.

The incredible fishing is another attraction on its own. An ancient fish trap, still visible at low tide out the front of the Mansion, is testimony to the extraordinary fisheries that even the local Aboriginal tribes once worshipped. The marine reserve, literally at the front door of White Patch Mansion, attracts anglers from all over the world and is internationally famous for its waters filled with Tailor, Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Mackerel and enormous Mudcrabs. You'll be grateful that you only have a few meters to haul your catch back to the BBQ overlooking the passage during your stay at White Patch.

Cruise up the Pumicestone Passage aboard the Ferryman Cruises through the estuarine marine park wilderness. You may also be joined by dugong, dolphin and turtles during your cruise - an experience not to be missed

Picnic at historic historic Mission Point in the national park, accessible through the rangers station in White Patch.

Bushwalks complete with virgin forest, vivid wildflowers and incredible array of birdlife literally begin at the back door of White Patch Paradise.

If you are the kind of holidaymaker who prefers action to relaxation Bribie Island is also for you. Pumicestone Passage is a haven for windsurfing, jet skiing or catamaran sailing. On the other side of the Island, Woorim is Brisbane's closest patrolled surf beach, the venue for regular surf carnivals and a popular spot for swimmers and board riders.

4 wheel driving tracks criss-cross the island starting at the rangers station just a few hundred meters from the White Patch Mansion. Bribie Island plays host to some of the most spectacular 4WD terrain in Australia.
