Owners were born and raised in the same town minutes away from each other with an overlapping circle of friends and although didn't know one another there, by ways of traveling the NorthEast for their individual jobs, met at work, got to know one another and fell in love in NYC. They've been inseparable since day one, got married some years later and decided that NYC was to be their home and is now making Beach Haven their new home away from home.

LBI is an amazing hidden gem because of its proximity to the Manhattan, its breathtaking beaches and quaint shops & restos. Le Beach House Montreuil is close to town as well as to the beach and we wanted a large enough home to have our many friends and very large extended family come over anytime and not feel cramped for space. We started our search high and low, from the Hamptons, then Long Island and then all the way down the shore to beautiful LBI and we found the jewel of the island, Beach Haven the Queen City, and we couldn't resist once we found this home so close to the Ocean! The bonus was that it has a fireplace so we can enjoy it in all seasons!! We hope that you appreciate the reasons why we chose Beach Haven and this beach house over the many others on the island!

The uniqueness of this home is that it's an 'upside down' house meaning the living space is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. So the sunlight can be appreciated all the more because we spend most of our waking hours in the living room, the kitchen and the dining areas or balconies so it's a perfect way to always have the beautiful sunlight year round and keep the bedrooms cool in the summer months! We hope you love this as much as we do!
