Mae Na, Chiang Mai, Taíland

Our home is surrounded by a peaceful and friendly community. Villagers make their living from rice growing and also generate additional income between harvests from weaving bamboo baskets.
The road that leads to our home is also an entrance to Doi Luang Chiang Dao base camp and San Pa Kia (Highland Agricultural Research Station).
In winter, many travelers love to go to the mountains. Sakura is the princess of pink blooms and can be seen at San Pa Kia. Kia means pines. There are numerous pine trees and coffee plantations. On Doi Chiang Dao, mountain mist and the sunlight on the horizon is just breathtaking. At the campsite, you can see stars and the lights from Chiang Dao.
Getting there is quite difficult because of the bumpy gravel road. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is essential. Contact the research station of the faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University at least ten days before you plan to visit.

During my career, I traveled a lot abroad and gradually fell in love with the English country style. After retirement, I followed my dream to live in one of the most beautiful rural areas with good weather, where I can grow winter crops, vegetables and especially my most favorite flower, Roses. I brought with my collected household items from England to decorate the house so that people with same interest can come here to share experiences and life after retirement becomes even more pleasurable. For that reason, Ispent some years looking around Chiang Mai to find a place with beautiful scenery, good soil, fresh air and clean water. And here I am! This unique location in Chiang Dao has it all. I would like to invite you to experience the beauty and serenity of surrounded nature as well as the cozy English country home and garden.
