Located within walking distance to the University of Denver and Porter Hospital in the Cherry Hills Vista neighborhood. Safe & friendly neighborhood with plenty of street parking in front of house (no parking in driveway).

3 rooms in our ranch home, all located on the main floor. Guests who enjoy a "community" living environment will find our home a good fit. Everyone is always friendly and you are welcome to come and go as you need! (no curfews or time restrictions)

Hello Super Guest! Thank you for checking out our home for your stay in Denver, CO! My name is Barbara and we would be excited to welcome you to our home in South East Denver. Our family has welcomed international students and others into our home since 2008 and with AirBnB since Jan2014. Our household mission...we promise to provide you a SAFE, CLEAN, and ECONOMICAL experience. Our home is a 1227-SF brick ranch with 3 comfy bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main floor...and within walking distance to the south end of DU campus and Porter Hospital. We have 4 AirBnB listings which we hope will accommodate your traveling needs. You can reserve the entire home if traveling with a group/family OR if traveling alone (ladies only) you can reserve a private bedroom. I live on-site in the basement with our dog, Gus, and access the house thru the garage (no parking in driveway) and back porch door. I am available if needed for emergency's but pretty much give guests their privacy. About our dog, Gus....Gus was a rescue pup from TX who we adopted in 2015. Turns out he has a bit of anxiety and is hyper protective of his space and family. He is really a sweet guy but very particular about who he takes a liking too. We keep Gus gated in the basement or frolicking in the backyard (no guest access to back yard). Gus is not allowed on the main floor and the kitchen pocket door is always to remain closed. Guests have full access to the main floor including a fully stocked kitchen (guests provide their own food). There is no laundry facility access but guests can take advantage of a laundry service (see household manual for details). We look forward to meeting u and have u stay! Cheers, Barbara

Guests have freedom to come and go from house as they need. No curfews or other restrictions. Only ask everyone to be respectful that others may be sleeping and to monitor their noise level. "Quiet" time is from 9pm - 9am. Request guests to take fone calls during this time away from sleeping areas (in kitchen or outside). Host family has private living space in basement and will use the garage and back porch to access home. Host will only be on main level to clean and restock on weekend or to prep rooms when new guest arriving. Contact host for emergency's such as electric issues that r not related to area wide power outages or medical issues. For information about power outages in area go to Xcel energy site to view areas down and approx time when they expect power will be restored.
