You are only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful and historic Kelowna downtown and lakeshore. City park is a great place for a walk and this is where you can find all the best restaurants - I recommend Bai Thong (Thai food), Cactus Club, Earls on Top, Dawett and Da Tandoor for Indian cuisine or Dragon King (Chinese).
Safeway, Nesters and Shoppers Drug Mart are all just 4 blocks away for groceries.
Enjoy a nice run in the morning in this beautiful neighborhood or a brisk hike up knox mountain (nearby). There is also an outdoor skating rink downtown where you can rent skates in the winter, and salsa lessons/social dance at the Rotary Center for a nominal drop-in fee on Thursdays starting 8pm (in the summer).

Hi! If you are reading this then I guess we will be meeting soon! I am a young professional from the interior or B.C. Canada; I love to travel and take every opportunity to do so, whenever and wherever I can and I have been blessed with a job that grants me the ability to work remotely as well as a mother who taught me a zest for life and the importance of spontaneity!

I am very close with my family - they are my very best friends and often travel companions. I love arts and culture and gravitate to activities of that type: opera, orchestra, museums, live music and dance. Quiet and down-to-earth, we are both gracious hosts and grateful and respectful guests.

In addition to travelling, I love hosting people from all walks of life and diverse regions of the world. There are many places to visit and only a limited travel budget so hosting extends my reach to meeting new and different people while offering a home away for fellow travellers at an affordable price!
