High above Penticton's north shore and set amidst orchards and rolling hills is Nature's Window, a bright, private getaway with awesome views from every window, a spacious open-concept layout, two queen-size beds (in separate rooms), off-street parking, and all the amenities of home.

Yet we're super close to all the action! Three minutes to Okanagan Lake Beach and South Okanagan Events Centre, 5 minutes to downtown, 10 minutes to the Naramata Bench wineries, a half hour to Apex!

Please note: We do not have cable TV (though we do have a new 50-inch TV for Netflix or streaming from your mobile device). We also do not have an oven (though we do have a induction hotplate and numerous other kitchen goodies). We encourage you give our listing a good read so you can make an informed decision.

Having said that, here are the Top Twenty reasons you'll love Nature's Window:

1) It's huge. 900 square feet, not including private patio.

2) It's open concept. Bedroom and bathroom aside, it's one big, beautiful space.

3) It's bright. It's the lower level of our home, but it's above ground and it's filled with windows and LED light fixtures.

4) The view. We have no immediate neighbours, we're rural, and we're on a hill. All three main windows look toward pastures, the city of Penticton, and distant mountains.

5) We're close to what matters. It's a three-minute drive to Okanagan Lake Beach and the Okanagan Events Centre. Five minutes to downtown Penticton. Less than ten to the Naramata Bench wineries.

6) The beds. Two new super-comfy queen-size beds, in separate rooms, topped with upscale linens.

7) The technology. Fast Wi-Fi, two G*o*o*g*l*e Homes (including one in the bedroom), a 50-inch Chromecast-enabled TV, a keyless entry system, a device charger, and more. Note that we do not have cable TV.

8) The artwork. Co-owner Yvonne is a wonderful artist, and her paintings decorate the walls (and get tons of comments).

9) The cleanliness. We're neat freaks, and it shows.

10) The parking. It's off-street and it's big enough for virtually anything.

11) It's not boring. Games, books, fitness gear, and of course, those two G*o*o*g*l*e Homes.

12) We're food-friendly. A full-size fridge, full-size dining table, a single-burner induction cooktop, a microwave, and nearly all the culinary amenities of home with the exception of an oven.

13) We're private. No neighbours, no urban density, no loud noises, and no sharing anything with anyone.

14) The patio. From April thru November, grab a glass of wine and grab a private seat in the great outdoors.

15) The KVR Trail. It's directly outside our back gate, ready for you and your running shoes. Or your bike.

16) The washroom. It's modern and it's stocked with all you need. Even mini soaps.

17) We're flexible. We're perfect for one to four guests, and we're okay with kids aged eight and up as well.

18) We're bike-friendly. Lock them up just outside the front door, or even inside. Then take to the trails or the roads in the morning.

19) Our guests are amazing, and we thank them for all the great reviews.

20) The hosts are pretty good too. We're thrilled with our Superhost status and our reviews, and we'll do everything we can to make your stay memorable.

We're on the "smart home" bandwagon. Technological goodies include a private entry keypad with a four-digit code of your choosing (no key exchanges!), motion detector lights to illuminate the path to your door, a Chromecast-enabled TV (watch Netflix or anything else from your phone or tablet on a TV screen), a phone/tablet/computer charger, and, best of all, two "smart speakers." AirBnB won't allow us to spell out the name (it rhymes with "Oogle Home"), but they've quickly become one of our guests' favorite perks.

Our home is set amidst orchards and vineyards, quaint homesteads, estates, and some of the best view properties in the region. We're unique in that you'll feel miles away from the hubbub of the city, yet you're just five minutes from downtown Penticton, the Penticton Channel (the region's inner-tubing hot spot), and one of the Okanagan's finest beaches - Okanagan Lake Beach.

In addition, our back gate opens up directly to the western segment of the KVR Trail. Fifty paces from your front door, and you're on the trail. Go either direction and you're guaranteed miles and miles of walking, running, or mountain biking.

Distances to other major attractions:

South Okanagan Events Centre: Five minute drive.

Okanagan Lake Beach (the premier beach in the region): Five-minute drive.

Downtown Penticton: Eight-minute drive.

Naramata Bench Wineries, Penticton Airport: Ten-minute drive.

Apex Mountain Ski Resort: Forty-minute drive.

In addition, there's a pretty little strip mall just three minutes away that features a Starbucks, Tim Horton's, A&W, Quality Greens Farm Market, sushi restaurant, and liquor store.
