Fully furnished townhome in the Historic District of Jim Thorpe with a nice mix of modern and antique touches throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped for making meals - just bring your own groceries! Enjoy a cocktail on our porch overlooking Broadway or on our back patio. Then, retire to one of four spacious bedrooms. Master Suite has a king bed with attached study and desk, which is perfect for telecommuting.

Eignin
We have added all sorts of new comforts that our guests come to expect. Some additions we would like to highlight: designer touches throughout, large area rugs, new king bed in the master bedroom with luxurious bedding, 55" smart TV, and even a study attached to the Master Bedroom!

Kitchen is fully equipped. Plenty of pots, pans, knives, dishes and spices. Plus, now we even have a Keurig! Some k-cups are supplied but please bring enough for your stay.

This home shares walls with homes on either side. It has several stairs leading to the porch from the street. The main living space is on the first floor with two additional floors of bedrooms and the bathroom (bathroom is on the second floor). First floor and all bedrooms are equipped with window air conditioning units (during warm months). Heat is by old-style steam radiator.

*****LONG TERM STAYS*****
Now accepting stays of 30 days or more. High speed internet for online learning and telecommuting. Bed linens are included, but we ask that you bring your own pillows and bath towels. We will include a small supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, etc to get you started. You will be responsible for cleaning the home during your stay.

*****PETS*****
Small dogs MAY be accepted and is NOT guaranteed. Additional Pet Fee is required for all stays. Please do NOT book instantly if you intend to bring your dog. Message us first to see if we will accept your stay. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture and may be subject to additional cleaning fees.

****PARKING****
The home is on Broadway with ON-STREET parking. You are not guaranteed parking and may have to walk a considerable distance (1/2 mile) on busy weekends, during festivals and holidays. We suggest carpooling with other guests who may be staying with you. You may double park with your hazards on do unload your belongings.

****CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT****
Our standard check in time is no earlier than 4:00 and check out is no later than 10:00. If we don't have guests staying before/after you, we are happy to extend an early check in and check out. This is not guaranteed when you book the home.

*****WIFI*****
We have several Google wifi extenders throughout the home. There are two on the first floor and one in the master bedroom. We have these to ensure great wifi connection as older homes with plaster walls have poor wifi transmission. These are meant to remain plugged in as it takes quite a bit of time to pair the devices. Please do NOT unplug them. If they are unplugged, you will be subject to a $50 reconnect fee.

*****CAMERAS*****
Surveillance and privacy can be a sensitive topic. We have one security camera on the front porch and one in the backyard to ensure the safety of our guests and the property itself. There are no cameras or recording devices within the home and nothing within the home can be seen or heard on the outside cameras.

****NOISE****
If you are a very light sleeper, you may hear some street noise in the bedrooms in the front of the home. During the winter, you will hear some noise coming from our steam radiators throughout the home.

****UNRULY GUESTS****
Excessive drinking, public drunkenness and disturbing the neighbors will NOT be tolerated. If you violate any of these circumstances, you risk losing your entire security deposit. In addition, any cleaning above what is considered "normal" will be charged against your security deposit. Hazard Pay will be charged against your security deposit for any bodily fluids found on the property.

Thank you for viewing our properties in Jim Thorpe! A little about myself. I am now self-employed focusing most of my time on my rentals. In addition to my rentals, I volunteer many hours on the Board of Directors for the Jim Thorpe Tourism Agency. I have a vested interest in the town and want to see many happy travelers and tourists visit our amazing town. I also help with the graphic design and marketing of the town. When I'm not working on my rentals, I am digging in my organic vegetable garden or tending to my flowers. We also have nine chickens and two turkeys. I often leave some of our eggs, fresh flowers, herbs or veggies for my renters to enjoy. My other passion is cooking. It's one of the ways I can express my creativity, and I enjoy using herbs and vegetables from my garden in unique ways. You can say I have a "Service Heart". It makes me so happy to know that my guests felt like they just stayed in a friends' home. It's my goal to have rentals that will make my guests come back over and over.
