This stylish 2 bedroom apartment in a converted seed mill makes a perfect base for vacations or business trips to Edinburgh. Situated in the historic port area of Leith, a charming neighbourhood with excellent amenities and city centre links.

The apartment is in a charming, characterful neighbourhood offering the best of both worlds; a vibrant bar and restaurant scene but benefits from a positioning set back from the main road guaranteeing a good nights sleep. Plus it's only 10-15 mins from the city centre by bus.

The apartment is positioned right on 'The Shore' the most sought after area of Leith and the setting for the movies like "Sunshine on Leith".
The apartment boasts views of Edinburgh castle and skyline from its wonderful living room, complete with it's own window seat for you to relax and enjoy. This light and bright apartment benefits from natural light all day long.
The apartment block door is in courtyard and access is via a Secured entry lobby with lift/elevator access.

The accommodation:
There are two good sized bedrooms comfortably sleeping 4 adults. Bedroom one has a double bed, huge wardrobe and built in storage. The second has two single beds and a chest of drawers. All the beds have memory foam mattresses. All bed linen and towels are provided for you. There is also additional storage available in the hall cupboard.
If you have little ones we have a travel cot and highchair available for use as well.

Keen cooks will love the well equipped modern kitchen that includes all the equipment you may need to cater for yourself. The built in appliances include washing machine, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, and range cooker. Some basic groceries are provided for you to use eg. coffee, tea, condiments.

The living room area is equipped with a comfortable 2 seat sofa, flat screen TV, Roku stick for streaming and best of all a gorgeous window seat- the perfect spot to curl up with a book or enjoy your morning coffee!

The Bathroom with rain shower, heated self-clearing mirror and storage. Some basic toiletries are provided for your use.

All utility bills are included but we ask that you please turn the lights and radiators off when not in use!

Free Parking is available in the streets behind the apartment and in the carpark on Carpet Lane.
Alternatively a brisk 30 minute walk takes you to the Eastern end of Princes Street and the city centre.

Edinborg, Bretland

The nearest supermarket is the Sainsbury's round the corner on Bernard Street.

For high street stores there is the Ocean Terminal shopping centre, a 5 minute walk away, where you will find a large Debenhams department store and Boots Chemist amongst others. The centre also boasts a multiplex cinema, restaurants is home to the Royal Yacht Britannia.

The Leith Links park is a few minutes walk away and has lots of green space!

There's a swimming pool within 5 mins walk:
The recently renovated Leith Victoria, just off Great Junction Street also boasts a modern fully equipped gym and exercise classes and is very reasonably priced- theres no need for membership as they offer a "pay as you go rate" and for those staying at the apartment longer term, they offer a rolling 1 month membership so you're not tied in.

In this area you're spoilt for choice. From Michelin star establishments to cosy pubs there's something for everyone. With its roots as a harbour town the area is a mecca for seafood fans with many outstanding restaurants just steps from the front door.
I always recommend the Kings Wark if you want to try real traditional Haggis, Neeps and Tatties!
