The Carriage House in the spacious Green Mountains of Manchester Village Vermont is a true refuge. This private home is nestled on a side street in bucolic Manchester Village, where you can hike to Equinox Pond and stroll the marble sidewalks of historic Manchester Village to restaurants, shops, golf and the grand resorts.

Grocery stores are open. Local restaurants offer take out and outside and indoor dining. We have a private chef who can provide drop off catering. You can make yourself at home here and never need to leave.

We are following all state and federal guidelines for enhanced deep cleaning procedures. Vermont requires all guests to fill in this health compliance form before coming to Vermont

We ask guests to call me at The Wilburton Inn in Manchester VT so we can review the health forms before you book your reservation. We own 10 homes of all different sizes in Manchester and are happy to recommend the right one for your group. You can see all our properties on the Wilburton Inn website.

This is a wonderful home for the season or year - we discount rates based on length of stay.

Please note, our outdoor pool is located at The Wilburton Inn 1/2 a mile away and is open through September 21. Guests get one hour of exclusive swim time each day.

Charming, historic 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom upstairs Carriage House apartment in the best location in Manchester Village, Vermont. Enjoy week long, month long or seasonal rental on a quiet, historic side street..

Stroll Manchester Village's historic marble sidewalks (featured in The Guiness Book of World Records!) to shops, restaurants, hotels and golf. Hike to Equinox Pond right from this house.

This upstairs apartment is a wonderful getaway for Fall Foliage or ski season. Bromley Mountain is only 8 miles away. Stratton Mountain is 18 miles away.

The Carriage House sleeps 4. There is a small king bedroom with a new mattress, a charming library with two twin beds. Work from home on a wonderful roll top desk in an office adjacent to the library. The living room features a pull out queen sofa, big TV, and propane fireplace. The kitchen has full size fridge and dishwasher, toaster oven, one burner, and microwave, coffee pot, blender. There's lovely place to sit outside with a BBQ and fire pit and garden.

Abraham Lincoln's son, Robert Todd Lincoln lived in the mansion and kept his horses in this carriage house. The very cool bar in the Carriage House dining area is made from the wood on his stables!

This is a very special place with lots of character. It is an ideal space for a family looking to be in a central quiet location in Manchester or a couple looking to work remotely.

Dogs are welcome for an additional $125.

The Downstairs is not included in the rental.

My sister and I live in the mansion next door and are available for any maintenance issues.

I've been a professional songwriter in New York City for 20 years ever since I graduated from Brown University in 1991, but I've recently come home to Manchester, Vermont to run the magnificent Wilburton Inn with my dad and my brother Max (who gave up his job teaching at Harvard to run it with me!) Our parents owned the inn for the past 32 years but our mom very, very sadly passed away several years ago. We are honored to continue her legacy of personal hospitality and sharing our love of Vermont with new friends and travelers. We have the best social life ever because of all of our interesting guests that come to our rental homes and inn every week. I still live in Spring Street in SoHo every other week, but my heart is now in Manchester VT and I can't wait to come back every weekend and every other week. Come join me and my King Charles Cavalier puppy, Jetson! We really look forward to meeting you!
