You'll love our cozy 1940's era bungalow in Southeast Denver. Your space is an entire floor with a private entrance, one bedroom, a relaxing separate living room, and luxurious bathroom. We have easy access to public transportation, bike trails, and cute local restaurants and shops. We can't wait to share our favorite city with you!

Eignin
Your space is the entire basement floor of our home, and is separate from our living area upstairs. Since this is our primary residence, you'll probably be able to hear us moving about upstairs, but we do our best not to be overly noisy. You'll have your own bedroom with a very comfy queen bed, living room, and bathroom for your stay; and while there isn't a full kitchen, we have provided a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, and hot plate. There is also a fan and space heater for you to use.

The space has a Roku tv that you can use to sign in to a variety of streaming services if you subscribe to them (Netflix, Hulu, etc). There are also several channel apps that you can access using your cable or satellite subscription. We do not provide cable or our personal logins for any of the services.

We are pot friendly, but would ask that you smoke outdoors.

The entrance to the space is the side door of our home (please note that the front door is not the entrance to the space) which has a keypad lock so you'll be able to check in even if we are not home to welcome you. A few days prior to your stay you should receive an email from Airbnb with a step-by-step guide to checking in which includes photos. We have a large back yard and a nice patio that you're welcome to enjoy during your stay. I find that a morning cup of coffee on the patio is perfectly delightful!

Our neighborhood is relatively quiet, but very close to some cute stretches of shops and restaurants. We are within a few miles of Old South Gaylord Street, Old South Pearl Street, and the lovely Washington Park. There is always plenty of street parking on our street, we only ask that you make sure not to block any of our neighbors' driveways.

Since we live in a city, you also should pay attention to the street sweeping signs. The first week of the month during the months of April through November, the city does street sweeping in our neighborhood. If your stay coincides with one of these weeks, you could receive a ticket for parking on a street that has street sweeping on that day. Our street has street sweeping on the first Wednesday (on our side of the street) and first Tuesday (on the opposite side of the street) of the month.

Please note that there will be some construction happening next door starting in October/November 2017 and continuing through the following year. They will only be doing work in the daytime, and we do not expect noise to be much of an issue since the space is garden level. You may find that you may not be able to park directly in front of the house, but there should still be ample parking on our block.
