This charming, historical Victorian cottage will accommodate 10 people (8 comfortably). Our home is in walking distance to Williams College, The Williamstown Theatre Festival, the Williamstown library and Spring Street (which has shopping, restaurants, a cinema/art house and “other” services). By vehicle, the Cottage is just 2 minutes from the Clark Museum. MassMOCA (a large contemporary museum) and Mass College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) are just 10 minutes away by vehicle.

Eignin
This 4 bedroom Victorian cottage features three floors of living space and three zones of heating. During the warmer months, a window A/C unit is placed within each bedroom. The Cottage sits on a gently sloping hill. Therefore, the basement is a walk-out basement and has 3 sides with very large full-size windows, door and sliding glass doors which go out to a large porch. There are four bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, a full kitchen, living room and TV room. Note: The TV room has a pull-out couch with a full-size bed. With 4 bedrooms and a pull-out, full-size couch, our home can sleep 10 people. However, to remain comfortable, we recommend 8 people or less. The kitchen, as the home was designed long ago, is on the lowest level and walks-out to the large porch. The kitchen has a coffee maker with fresh coffee, toaster, microwave, full-size stove and a full-size refrigerator. The kitchen table accommodates 4 guests and there’s an island which accommodates 2 additional guests. In addition, there’s cable, internet, a washer and dryer.

Annað til að hafa í huga
The top level of this Victorian cottage has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has two windows, a comfortable, full-size bed and dresser to store clothing, etc. The second bedroom has two matching, maple twin beds, a closet with shelves and 3 windows. In addition, there’s a brand new ½ bath on this floor. This entire floor has hardwood and/or bamboo flooring. Although we tend to have cool nights in the summer months in the Berkshires, during the warmer months, a window A/C unit is placed within each bedroom.
The first floor (at the street entrance level), has one bedroom with a full-size bed and closet. In addition, there’s a living room and a brand new full bath on this floor. This entire floor has hardwood, bamboo and tile flooring. During the warmer months, a window A/C unit is placed within the bedroom.
The lowest level of living has a newly renovated kitchen with a tin back splash, kitchen table, island, washer/dryer, TV room, full bathroom and an extra large bedroom with king-size bed & 2 closets. There’s a large back deck which can be accessed from the extra large bedroom or the kitchen. This entire level has hardwood and/or bamboo flooring (except the extra large bedroom). The extra large bedroom, with a King-size bed, recently had new carpet installed (for those people who don’t like to feel a hardwood floor on their feet during the colder months). During the warmer months, a window A/C unit is placed within the bedroom.

Staðsetning

Williamstown, Massachusetts, Bandaríkin

Our home sits on a gently sloping hill and is surrounded by mature trees (including a large apple tree). Hemlock Brook sits directly behind our home. Because the cottage was built in the late 1800s, there’s a lot of neat history and some intriguing architectural designs (e.g., shape of the slate roof, etc) throughout the house. When the house was constructed, horse and buggies were used solely to get around. Therefore, the front of the house is close to the street. But, when sitting on the back porch and listening to the stream, one quickly begins to relax. We are in northern Berkshire County and within walking distance to the center of town, Williams College, Williams College Museum and the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The Clark Museum is just 2 minutes away by car. MCLA & MASS MoCA are 10 minutes away. There's a great local food co-op (Wild Oats Market), lots of hiking trails (including Mt Greylock), theater in the summers, etc. This part of Massachusetts is absolutely beautiful and filled with history.

Hi! We're George and Jonas. George works in managed healthcare throughout MA, NH, VT and VA. However, my true passion/love is to be surrounded by nature. Jonas works within the visual arts field, specifically letter press printing. He is very creative and loves all creations of art. He is a native of Nebraska. But, Jonas loves the Northeast. The Northeast area is amazing all year round. We believe you'll be very happy while visiting the Northern Berkshires. The location is ideal if you enjoy the arts, dining, museums, live entertainment, nature, skimobiling, skiing, cross country skiing, ice skating, hiking, canoeing and fishing. We absolutely enjoy both the Berkshires and the Green Mountains. We truly believe that once you stay here, you'll never want to leave!
