Currently hosting NYC and upstate NY properties with my family. We will be opening our own B&B and party/event hall started upstate in the future on a larger scale. I currently live in NY and have most of my life except living in Fort Lauderdale a few years.
I am also an Airbnb traveler. I am very particular about my surroundings and like suburban areas (mostly) unless I'm visiting a city and have no car. I am a neat, clean person, and I have an Italian Greyhound who is adorable. He's usually sleeping while I'm at work and would probably do the same if he travels with me. He doesn't always travel with me, I just enjoy taking him with me touring the city I'm traveling in because taking him along is a good way to meet people, especially since he's such a well behaved dog. He hardly barks (only when scared) and sleeps in his own bed. He's very well trained. Some of my pastimes are cooking and decorating. When I'm traveling I usually like to prepare food and take it with me so convenience is the key when I am looking to rent through Airbnb.

If you do not get this email please let us know so there will not be a problem being able to check in. We know if you haven’t read it because you haven’t called us. We like to welcome guests with a few things about our listing before they arrive and would appreciate it if they read the few things we have to explain. This is our way of making sure we know who people are. We like to welcome our guests and would appreciate it if they read the email fully and do not mind personal interaction before they arrive, to avoid miscommunication or misunderstandings. Therefore, all guests are required to call us before their stay.

We expect all guests to know that our property rules and that our household rules apply to everyone who visits and stays on our property. Please do not expect us as owners not to visit and maintain things on our property from time to time. We do not feel guests should be under the assumption that this is a rental we do not look after often since we have a lot invested here. We may/may not be around during your stay. Property managers in hotels oversee their properties and we do the same with our property.
