My place is close to Pitlochry, in Perthshire, central Scotland. The Location of the house is amazing, awesome, stunning...you name it. You will be moved. Rural, waterside beauty yet only 8.8 miles to the main road. The house sleeps eight and can house two families easily as two bedrooms are at each side of the house. There is a log fire you can bring logs for. Large entertainment room with snooker/pool/table tennis table and 58inch flat screen multi channel tv on wall, and assorted books.

This house is in an amazing location and there are no neighbours overlooking the property or grounds. The house is unique in its location with private Loch access. One of few that have this on the Loch Tummel.
The setting is picturesque and the seasons just bring on new wonderment with what nature brings. Spring is wonderful as everything is starting to wake up again and bloom so April is the start of that.
Summer is incredible as our days are long here in Scotland with it being light till nearly eleven o’clock so you have the whole day to enjoy the marvellous green space and play on theLoch too.
Autumn from late September to early November, is when the leaves on the trees start to change colour and the colours are incredible. I haven’t managed to take photos that do it any justice but my jaw drops when I drive through the area.
I always think I should be full of guests this whole period as if not, they are missing out on something amazing. I’m not thinking of this in a business sense either. It is just that inspiring to see. Photographers would be in their element and busy snapping constantly but so would anyone just walking in it.,

The least attractive months where the landscape is concerned is January February and March but we have had guests come then who have been happy to be just enjoying the comfort of the log fire whilst looking into the Loch views. That views appeal is never affected by the change in seasons as a Loch view is always amazing.
As a result of that interest, we still keep it open to book during these months, but sometimes take a week or two for ourselves to do maintenance, redecorating or just chill out.

Our house is in a central driving position for Blair Atholl, Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Birnam, Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Loch Rannoch.
All of these places can be reached by car within forty minutes driving time at most. Glencoe, Fort William, Loch Ness can be seen on the same beautiful journey by car and with sufficient time spent in these three locations, you could do this is a very pleasant day.Cyclists have routes available all around these areas also, the Caledonian Etape being a popular closed road race ran in the area every year, covering the most beautiful scenery.
Hill walkers equally have several to choose from as well as the local Schehallion, Ben Vrackie, Birnam Hill nearby.
There is a train service from Pitlochry providing links north to Inverness and South to Edinburgh.
There is also a sleeper train from Pitlochry to London which can cost as little as £59.00 if booked early and leaves Pitlochry at 10.30pm arriving London Kings cross at 6.30am.

I have devoted six months to designing and setting up this holiday let so that I know my guests will be in for a treat and will feel happy with their choice.
I am a perfectionist and I love looking after people, and I am getting a lot of job satisfaction, knowing that I am doing my best for guests, to ensure they have a successful and happy holiday. My background is in Nursing and although my passion is still to make everyone feel good, I have just changed the way I do it!
I did not scrimp on costs when buying new beds and mattresses etc as I did put value on guests being comfortable. The mattresses were all new, no second hand mattresses here, they are new, of good quality so that you have a comfortable supportive sleep and the bed linen is Egyptian cotton. I can offer flanellette sheets during winter months if guests prefer this. All linen gets laundered professionally, is also steam pressed.
I have stocked the kitchen with extra dishes, appliances etc for guests who are celebrating during their stay. I love to decorate the house for the festive season so as not to disappoint those gests who are new to spending time away from home at Christmas. Everything is as I would like it to be for myself, as most of my job satisfaction here is feeling that I am offering you a good service and giving you good value and great memories. I want you to be happy. The properties I have offer great views and locations though both very different. One is situated on a Golf course and the other on a Loch! Cant get more different than that. One central Perthshire, the other in Golfing county on the East coast, near Carnoustie. The Golfing property has a hot tub and My friend Annie is your hostess there, who will greet you, show you around, and be able to be contacted at any point during your stay for advice or assistance, as am I, though more remotely.
I offer a meet and greet at the property on the Loch Tummel and I am your first point of contact there, though both Annie and myself do not disturb guests during their stay. I am proud of the service we are providing as I see a lot of happy faces, and I am grateful for the differences that come from looking after healthy people than sick ones as I did in my nursing career, as that can sometimes be heart breaking. My business does make set monthly contributions to Cancer research, and Shelter. Any older bedding etc is donated to Start up projects and my plan is to hopefully continue to pay a percentage of income to charity.
The accommodations I offer will please overseas guests who have never visited Scotland, as well as guests living a few hours away, and don't want to travel far. They are also wonderful places to just stay indoors at and have a quiet, relaxing holiday with ample books, space and comfort to do so, as well as being located in areas with much to see and do. In saying that, improvements are always being planned to keep things up to standard, and this year we plan to buy another two kayaks for Loch Tummel and fix up the jetty.

I am readily available for queries through emails prior to your arrival. I often try to personally greet guests if there arrival time permits but when this is not possible, I leave a key.
I do not visit guests whilst in the property but I am always available to contact via what’s app, text or email should my guests want to ask me information on where to go, what to see etc.
I am always happy to help you, but do not bother my guests at all once I know they are in and are happy.
