Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a Tiny House? This is your chance to experience one in the Adirondacks. You’ll love this Tiny House because of the coziness & convenient location. It is private, yet a 3 minute walk to the Revolution Rail Co in the charming and not too touristy Adirondack village. Nearby are tremendous outdoor recreational opportunities.

Eignin
Although less than 300 square feet, the Riverview has all the amenities and comforts you will need with an Adirondack-style interior. Equipped with a kitchenette (sink, refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, some condiments, pots, pans and silverware), it is private, yet walking distance to a still charming and not too touristy Adirondack village.

It is much nicer than the pictures can show. It has a full sized futon. We have a mattress topper available if you prefer a softer bed. Linens can be supplied for a small fee. There is a bathroom with a shower. Other amenities include a 27”TV with Roku and high speed WIFI to stream or wfh, a dresser and wardrobe closet, a table with two chairs situated in front of a window that has a view of the Hudson River. Please note that there is no direct access to the river from the cabin, but there is access nearby.

In back of the Tiny House is a fire pit and picnic table for outdoor living. In the storage shed are grilling utensils, a charcoal grill, two bicycles, a corn hole game, fishing poles, other misc. recreational gear and a sled that can be used on the hill that is part of this 3 acre property.

Recreational opportunities are abundant.

Downhill or Cross Country Skiing at Gore Mountain Ski Center (2 miles away) or the Skibowl (1/2 mile away). Cross country skiing also at Garnet Hill.

Rail Biking - One-of-a-kind excursion on custom pedal-powered railbikes. Revolution Rail Co. is located within walking distance.

Raft the Hudson River on a 17 mile wilderness rafting trip, with class 3-5 rapids depending upon the season and conditions considered the Grand Daddy of NY whitewater rivers. Several outfitters are neaby, Beaver Brook Outfitters being one.

Canoeing and kayaking – plenty of places.

Tubing – tubes may be available. Drive up stream, tube down, then pedal back to get your car. Adirondack Adventures in North River available to hire for transport and/or tube rental.

Bicycling – bikes may be available on site for use – great places to ride.

Or just walk out the door to local trails at the Ski Bowl Park.

Ski Bowl Park recreation activities – tennis, pickleball, basketball, skating, snow tubing, etc.

Swimming - there is a very nice beach at Minerva Lake, approximately 10 miles away off Route 28N. Directly across the street from the Riverview Run there is a shallow area that works for a quick dip. Several swimming holes south of the Glen on the Hudson. There is a place called the black hole in Wevertown, that is supposed to be good.

Visit the garnet mines.

Music at local venues.

Visit the Natural Stone Bridges and Caves.

Walk, ski or bike to Camp Santanoni in Newcomb.

Visit the Interpretive Center in Newcomb and the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake.

Golf at the High Peaks Golf Course in Newcomb or Cronins towards Warrensburg.

Check out the fall foliage by taking a ride on the gondola at Gore.

Check out the Tannery Community Center for local performing arts events.
Of course you are conveniently located to Lake George, Adirondack Museum and other attractions for day trips.

Fishing
Thirteenth Lake for pond fishing (North River Area). This lake has huge brook trout. It can also be fished from shore along the North Side. Right side as you are walking to the Lake. There is a trail along the Lake.

Hudson River (North River) for Trout. Fish across from Thirteenth Lake Road. They are in there – mainly brown trout. Flies work. Light Cahill or similar seems to work.

North Creek for stream fishing – From Ski Bowl area all the way upstream from Back to Sodom Road bridge. Rainbows downstream. Brookies way upstream where Creek gets very narrow. Never been skunked there for Brookies.

Directly across the street from River View Run there is a set of rapids next to shore. Almost always can catch a bass there.
