The rooms at Mustapha's are one-of-a-kind. Designed organically by Mustapha and his brother Culture, they vary from smaller bandas to larger bungalows . From the African stylings of the Round Room, to the jungle charm of the Treetop Room, there is a room for everyone.
If you want to wake up in a coral-walled bungalow, surrounded by vibrant bougainvillea and fragrant frangipani, and walk down to the breathtaking turquoise ocean and soft white sands of Bwejuu beach, then come to Mustapha's.

Our rooms, restaurant and bar are funky, comfortable and original, and there's always a good mix of travellers from all the countries of the world and locals who enjoy the relaxed ambience of Mustapha's. Mustapha's Place is very much a local ecofriendly hotel rooted in the local area. It is our chief goal, other than remaining a viable business, to benefit the villages next to which the hotel is situated. We promote ethical and sustainable consumption and all your activities and trips will financially benefit villagers, they encourages the development of local business activities and also provide real insight for tourists into the local way of life and culture.

Dreamt up by Mustapha almost a decade ago, and brought into reality by him and his close friend Culture, this is one of the most long-standing eco friendly hotel in the area. It is also one of the few that is both locally owned and managed. Popular with everyone who likes a rustic local vibe – backpackers, families, honeymooners and older travellers – the only rule is that you must relax... Karibu!
