This newly remodeled cabin is a beauty! It is architecturally unique with interesting lines, floor to ceiling windows, an open concept main floor, wood burning fireplace, a king sized bed in the loft and a comfy sofa bed in the living area. This is a great home base for exploring all that Mt. Hood has to offer and a beautiful space to relax in afterwards!

Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities. Historic River front Steiner Log Cabin. It is a log cabin that is almost 100 years old and has been lovingly restored. Dogs allowed upon pre-approval. Due to unfenced proximity to the river and the open fireplace, we do not recommend bringing young children to the cabin. (Ages 1-5). Exceptions may be may made at our discretion.
