Join me on the most beautiful last fortification trail of the Maltese Islands. The Last Fortification trail will see us hike around Fort Campbell and its underlying beaches. Fort Campbell is the most important fortification north of the Victoria Lines, and the last major fortification to be built in Malta by the British between 1937 & 1938 We will start our hike on a hilltop at Selmun Chapel on the outskirts of Mellieha, walking towards Selmun Palace. The palace used to be rented out to knights of the Order of Saint John as a place to relax and hunt wild rabbits, which were commonly found in the area. Following the path around the palace we can enjoy unobstructed views of Mistra Bay below us. Squaring up to Fort Campbell we take a right at the fork through a downhill path that cuts through cultivated farmland. Looking down from Rdum il-Biez you can see the beautiful blue waters of Ras il-Mignuna. Making our way across an uneven path, we can enjoy the magnificent views of St.Pauls Islands to our right. We now find ourselves in uncharted territory where not many Maltese have ventured before due it the areas remoteness. As we venture up the clay slopes we are now more or less half way through the journey. Next up are 2 very pretty & picturesque little bays that of Ghajn Hadid Bay & Imgiebah Bay. Saldremos de Granada en nuestro automóvil, en unos 20 minutos llegaremos a la base del Parque Nacional de Sierra Nevada, es el parque nacional más grande de España, donde caminaremos aproximadamente 8 kilómetros (5 millas), En el camino a la ruta podemos presenciar el Mulhacen, el pico más alto de la Península Ibérica con 3479 metros de altura. Desde nuestra opinión es la ruta más bonita y completa de Granada, la ruta se divide en dos partes. Una parte caminaremos justo al lado del río cruzando un cañón, esta parte es divertida ya que cruzaremos cuatro puentes colgantes, el más grande de ellos es de 65 metros, tendremos que agacharnos y agarrarnos a las rocas en algunas partes. Esto agrega un poco de diversión y aventura, pero muy fácil, puede ser realizado por todas las personas sin problema. La otra parte caminaremos por la montaña, en esta parte las vistas son increíbles. Contemplaremos la ciudad desde diferentes puntos de vista. En la experiencia de la tarde, haremos una parada en un mirador para contemplar el atardecer. Go off to explore the lovely medieval village of Saint-Emilion, listed as World Heritage Site by Unesco, and visit two wineries (a top winery classified Grand Cru Classé and a family-run estate Grand Cru) during a 5 hours guided tour with me, a fun & knowledgeable local guide speaking English. Your tour includes 2 wineries visit (introduction about the history of the estate and technical informations about how to make the wine), 5 wines tasting minimum in total and a French aperitif (cheese, cured meat & bread at the 1° or 2nd winery) OR sweet specialities from Bordeaux macaroons from Saint-Emilion & cannelés depending on the day of the visit. I will drive through the vineyard of Saint-Emilion in my van and we will visit together the famous medieval village dating from the Middle Age. The wine tours are in English & French. I offer 2 wines tours : morning (8.30am-1.15pm) & afternoon (1.30pm-6.30pm) The meeting point is in Bordeaux at : 1 place de stalingrad, in front of LCL Bank (with a beautiful view of the bridge :)) Make sure to have breakfast or lunch before ! (only small portions of cheese, cured meat, chocolate & crackers will be served at the first or second winery OR Macaroons & cannelés in the village of saint-emilion).

During the trip we will visit waterfalls, swim in a natural thermal spring lagoon (25C year round), water caves, canyons, and a few surprises along the way. It is not too extreme or strenuous as we move to the different locations with the minivan. Let’s call it a glamventure day :) This is NOT a hiking day. This tour is suited for almost everyone. Fit or not, young or more experienced ;-) I will guide you to get close to the massive waterfall, swim at the thermal springs and really almost whatever you are up to. If you are not so active, all the locations are perfect for chilling, taking amazing pictures and just enjoy a perfect day in the nature with fellow travellers. Of course there are nice stops to have local food and drinks. This experience is perfect for couples, group of friends, families, hen/stag dos and solo travellers.

Do you really want to experience our local Spanish food? This is not just another classic "tapas tour". We are going above and beyond to show you the "not-so-pretty" side of Spain's delicious and traditional food! Let us guide you through the most exquisite bites of Sevilla & Andalucia cuisine accompanied by traditional beverages that you've never heard of before. Meeting point: at "Puente de Isabel II" (AKA Puente de Triana) in the churros kiosk "Los Especiales", old town side . Once we cross the river, we will begin our walk with the most trendy and traditional neighbourhood in town: Triana. We will talk about spanish gastronomy and the connection with Sevilla,because we are what we eat historically speaking too. Directly after, we will go to 2 different classic tapas bars where we will get "ugly" but delicious tapas and drinks! You will go on this walking tour accompanied by one of our local team members. You will understand more about Spanish food by the history of our products, people, wineries, processing and more. In the end, you will see how Spanish gastronomy is comprehensive, simple, and most of all, delicious. How is this different from other tapas tours? Well, that's easy! Culturally when people travel, they are not very fond of new "ugly-looking" food. However, from the very beginning, we will get you interested in it and leave loving it.

First, we will start our trip in Chefchaoun walking through the historic blue houses by foot. Our trip starts from Chefchaoun to Akshour. Here we have a number of options to get to the national park area of Akshour, roughly 15km away. Option 1- We can take a local shared taxi which you pay individually per seat in the taxi. This costs roughly 25 dirham. Option 2- For any adventurous and thrill seeking people we can hire quad bikes from Chefchaoun and ride the quads through the moutains having oppoutunites to stop and take incredible pictures along the route. For prices and enquiries please ask for more information and note that this isn't included in the price stated on the current link. Option 3- If you have your own car then you are more than welcome to use this and we can travel freely together through the mountains stopping where you please for pictures and views along the way. When we arrive to Akshour we will have the option of visitng the waterfalls, Bridge of god, and have the oppourtunity to relax and take in the spectactular views.
