Það sem verður gert

The session is mainly dedicated to a head to toe stretch, giving extra focus on the lower & upper body & back. In total our session will last approx 1 hour. A short explanation will also be given towards good posture & how to maintain it. We will also identify your specific areas of tension & 1-2 exercises will be given in order to help you release your tension/ soreness. 

Throughout the class, I will demonstrate each stretch and move, meanwhile explaining how each stretch is used and it's benefits. I will also accompany, supervise, and help with achieving each position and offer alternative stretches if certain moves aren't doable.

I hope that after our session you can leave with a hint of increased body awareness in regards to stretching & posture, then when we started. And if you can remember our stretches & take back home some "homework", the merrier! 

Stretching is often done prior & after an exercise, dance, fitness class or any kind of activity, although stretching can be used any time of the day to heal ourselves of aches, pains & sore spots, it also helps with relieving stress & tension built up after a heavy day!

Injuries should be addressed prior to the session in order to avoid the area.

A native of the Maltese Islands, my name's Julia and I'm a dancer and choreographer. As a dancer, with a background of over 15 years, stretching has always been a vital step to conditioning and warming up the body. Without a proper warm-up, aches, pains, and injuries can arise!
I dedicate plenty of my time on a daily basis towards stretching. Why? Because with a good stretch, whether it's a morning stretch or evening stretch, it's always helped with soothing the body and mind. Their's something about dedicating a good hour towards stretching the body. It's always calmed me down and put me in a place of composure. I feel refreshed and alive again, restored!

Our classes will be done on a beach in St.Julians or Sliema. Overlooking Malta's seaview meanwhile enjoying the sunset.

Stretching on the beach with Julia was such a wonderful way to start my morning. She was a thoughtful and adaptive teacher, easily assesing my skill level and offering great modifications for positions I wasn't ableto comfortably achieve. I definitely recommend this experience.

Julia was very accommodating and tailored a personal class for me. As the weather was pretty bad and we couldn’t have a class outside so she came round to my apartment to conduct the class which covered core, barre and stretching. It was a lot of fun and Julia is very attentive and focused on form which is super helpful. Julia is very motivating which I very much needed! Highly recommended.

Julia knows what she is doing. She has the experience and she made me feel comfortable about the movements (back injury). She is a very friendly girl who showed a lot of interest in her guests. The location was incredible....in front of the sea! Afterwords my body felt so much better.....it’s a shame I don’t live in Malta otherwise I would taken a daily class. Thanks Julia!
