Our pasta-making class is fun, creative and interesting and will turn you into an Italian pasta expert!
I am Chef Federico and under my guidance, you will learn every secret about making fresh pasta.
It's a hands-on experience, so be prepared to pull up your sleeves and put your hands in the dough!
You will knead, cut, roll and fill ravioli, tagliatelle, tagliolini or other formats.
I will prepare with you authentic, fresh Italian pasta, with or without eggs, in different shapes and sizes and I will teach you the secrets of making colored pasta and stuffed pasta.
I will help know the best filling and sauces for your pasta dishes.

Recipes are all based on freshness, high quality of ingredients, tradition and, most of all my long experience.
With my expert guidance, you will be mastering homemade pasta in your own kitchen like a pro!

Ciao, I'm Federico, a professional chef for several years and a film and theater actor in my previous life.
I started making home-made pasta at the age of 10 when I helped my grandma prepare Sunday lunch. We woke up early and together prepared the "pasticcio", the classic Veronese meat lasagna for the whole family.
My dad, however, butcher and butchers son, taught me all the meat recipes I know.
Currently I am a manager of a fish bistrot, but I feel the need to keep the typical Italian recipes alive and share them with the guests of my cooking classes.

We will have the cooking class in my personal kitchen, in downtown Milan.
We could eat in our rooftop, a very quiet terrace surrounded by the greenery of our plants and flowers, among the scents of jasmine, wisteria, rosemary, sage, thyme and other aromatic plants.
In Spring or Summer, I will take you to the street market where we can buy fresh and high quality ingredients (on Monday/Thursday, Via Cesariano, on Tuesday/Saturday, via Fauché).

Federico was a fantastic host, he was incredibly kind and generous as well as a very patient teacher. We both loved that he shared his personal knowledge and experience with cooking and made it clear that this was simply his way and not 'the only' way. The food was delicious and the experience of making pasta from scratch as well as the pesto and ravioli filling is one we will never forget. He made it simple and I will definitely be trying to make the recipes again!

This was my first air bnb experience and it was one I’ll never soon forget. Frederico welcomed us into his home and shared his grandmothers pasta recipes. He is a great guy and made us feel welcome. We had so much fun we went to his fish restaurant later.

Chef Federico was an amazing host and taught us two great pasta recipes from scratch. We talked about the general process of making pasta as well the specifics of the two dishes, and we all came away feeling like we can reproduce what we learned in our own kitchens. Federico hosts the class in a charming apartment that was perfect to cook in and relax with the food afterwards. Would definitely recommend!

Great class with a top notch Chef! Class was very informative! Federico sharing his family recipes with us and teaching us as his grandmother taught him was very neat! Nice intimate setting in his flat.
