I live in Choeng Doi, just outside of Chiang Mai on a beautiful property surrounded by naturally flowing stream and rice fields. While in a quiet rural setting it is close distance to urban facilities, restaurants, local markets, and temples.

Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat in Nature

1.We can start our day with 30 to 60 min of morning mindful walking and guided sitting meditation. It’s depend on how comfortable you feel
2.Afterward we’ll explore our neighbor’s rice field and learn about the rice cycle
3.Then we will practice 60 minutes (depend on how comfortable you feel) of morning yoga in my studio or in our beautiful garden, which is big enough to hold 20 people). I will adapt to your level or eventual limitations.
4.After yoga practice, we will share a delicious lunch that I prepare myself.
5.Later Wat Phra That Doi Saket Temple : Breathtaking temple! (10 min bike from our property) and the very nice and authentic local market nearby or you could go for a tea or cup of coffee in the beautiful garden at the BaanPa’s Café

Note: Yoga and meditation classes plus brunch are included in my experience price. Coffee/dinner is optional and on your own expenses.
Other things to note
After a half day of practice and explore in nature you will already feel more energetic and clear minded. In my opinion you should come back and stay a few more more nights to rejuvenate your holidays

1. We will practice yoga and meditation on our beautiful property in Choeng Doi, close to Chiang Mai city. We can practice in the garden or in my yoga studio. We will visit our neighbor rice fields.
2. Gorgeous Wat Phra That Doi Saket Temple : Breathtaking temple! It is an authentic temple not very touristy.

This experience was one of my Thailand trip highlights. It really allowed me to have a deep appreciation of our surroundings, and it was a truly personalized experience I will never forget. First off, the grounds and setting are amazing, and the practice was great in every way possible. We started the day with walking meditation, then on to yoga, and then a delicious homemade Thai lunch, followed by a temple visit then ended at the local market. I really enjoyed everything, but especially the meditation and yoga portions, which are both challenging and rewarding. The local temple was an unexpected pleasure and the views from there were great. The host, Amori, is so friendly and personable, and truly is so patient and accommodating! This definitely exceeded my expectations, and is perfect for anyone looking to connect with themselves. If you’re looking for a unique experience that not every tourist does in Chiang Mai, then this is it – highly recommended. Thank you again, Amori!

Amori’s place away from Chiang Mai is relaxing and chill. I was the only guest on the day which made the session more personalized. Started the day with walking meditation, then on to Yoga, and then a delicious Thai lunch, followed by some temple visits. It’s truly an enriching and learning-filled day. Because of this, i now have a keen resolve to continue practicing meditation and yoga moving forward. Not only that, Amori is such a super cool host who knows much more than meditation/yoga - we had coversations on metaverse, crypto, etc and got me surprised how updated she is on latest tech stuff :) Overall - a nice experience, must try!

This is the activity you must do it in Chiang mai. The place is about 30min away from the center, and this small town is where you can find the real peace to practice the best yoga and meditation. The host provided homemade Thai food&fruits, it is super delicious with beautiful decoration. Not only for yoga, you can also experience the local tour which you can’t do without a local guide. If you’re looking for unique experience not the one every tourists do, then this is the perfect one. The host is super kind and did her best to treat me well. She also gave me a small gift which made me happier!

This is a must-do if you want to practice mindfulness and yoga, and want to get off the beaten path! I’m honored to be the first guest since the country opened back up, and was lucky to have a great 1:1 time with Amori. Amori is so friendly and personable. Her place is just a bit outside the old city, in the beautiful country side surrounded by rice patties. I thoroughly enjoyed both the meditation and yoga portions, which are both challenging and rewarding. Amori’s story is quite inspiring- she worked in Florida and NYC for a long time, to save up money to care for her mother and buy land for her yoga retreat. The local temple was grand and the views from there were spectacular. This definitely exceeded my expectations, and I’m glad to do a small part in helping a locally-owned and woman-owned small business!!

Delightful experience! I have to admit that I’m sort out struggle with mediation and focus but how Amori guided through mediation made it easy for me. In additional with the atmosphere it is harmonized plus beautiful weather!

J'ai passé avec Amori une matinée très riche en découverte, dans un lieu fantastique qu'elle a bien pris le temps de me faire visiter. J'ai pu vivre d'intenses moments de méditation selon sa méthode et un cours de flow yoga qu'elle a su bien cibler en fonction de mes besoins. C'était génial ! Elle a pris grand soin de m'accompagner ensuite au grand temple de Doi Saket avec de précieuses explications. Le déjeuner était incroyablement délicieux et copieux ! beaucoup de bienveillance, Amori est une personne adorable vers qui je reviendrai sans hésitation à mon prochain séjour, avec l'envie de partager cette belle expérience avec des amis. Merci infiniment d'avoir eu l'idée de proposer cet événement !!
