Each class is held on the beach in any weather! The class is an hour long. You only need to bring either a beach towel or yoga mat. Loose comfortable clothing is encouraged. Each class begins with a grounding meditation, the body is warmed up with some easy yoga and gentle stretching exercises. We finish with movement that is both fun and geared toward your skill level! You'll be refreshed!! This is a great class to experience life at the beach!
Other things to note
The class is held on the beautiful Ventnor beach right off of the Surrey Ave Boardwalk. The class is one hour long, but may go longer if the class dictates.

I am a retired dancer, dance teacher, choreographer and co-founder of a dance company in Seattle, Washington. A few years ago I developed a movement experience for anybody, shape, age or skill level. Mending movement combines meditation and movement into one unique class. This class will help you connect you to your body and release your innermost thoughts and emotions. This is especially helpful for anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, or any type of trauma. You'll start your day on the beach grounding yourself, gently warming your body up with a combination of yoga and gentle stretches, and ending with some fun easy movement. A dance background or skill in dance is not required. I am able to gear each class to individual participants.

If you are willing to let go of expectations of what mindfulness or meditation should be and truly live in the moment free of self judgement.. you will indeed benefit from this experience. Absolutely anyone can benefit from this time with Lyndee, if you let yourself. If you aren't willing to let go, open yourself up to your emotions, and lower your self perception of what play and reflection should be then you likely won't benefit as much as you could. Challenge yourself! It's worth it!

Lyndee was amazing! She spoke directly to you with great eye contact. Her tone was soft and caring. Lyndee made the experience very unique she didn’t do a textbook routine which made it more interesting. Never have I used my body to write my name lol. You will enjoy it if you have an open mind.

I attended Mending Movement on the beach with Roger Mallery. today. We met Lyndee and her husband on the boardwalk and walked down to the beach for a movement class. It was a different experience fur me, being a group fitness instructor. The class began with a grounding exercise and some guided thought. It then included some stretches and light yoga moves. The class concluded with a simple dance routine. It was nice to play and get out of my brain a little. Lyndee said it was a chance to “be 5 again.” It was an enjoyable experience overall. Great to enjoy the beach and do something different..... just don’t expect a regular workout, more mental exploration and less physical workout.
