The activity follows a basic training routine: it starts with a warm-up, followed by the training proper, abs workout, and ends with stretching, and cool down. The training intensity can be customized according to the fitness level and background of the participant/s.
For beginners, I will teach the basic stance, some punches (jab, straight), kicks (leg kick), and how to strike with the knees, and elbows.
For intermediate to advanced learners, I will teach spinning elbow, side kick, push kick, roundhouse kick, back kick, flying knee, superman punch, and some combination punches and kicks.
Other things to note
We will be training at the front lawn (grass area) of CCP. We can also adjust our location according to our client's needs. Please bear in mind that this is a shared public space.

I have been part of the boxing/Muay Thai/MMA scene for almost over a decade now. I first trained as a young professional boxer, and then I moved to Muay Thai, and MMA. I have competed in several amateur, and professional boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA tournaments. Fitness has always been my passion. I am a certified Muay Thai coach, and I have been training people of various age groups, and abilities for 10 years now.
Staðsetning
Trainings will be conducted at the Cultural Center of the Philippines grounds. It is a public space with a spacious wide lawn beautifully situated near Roxas Boulevard, where one could catch a sight of Manila Bay. People flock the area to exercise, have a stroll, and to catch some fresh air.

John was the trainer here. I asked him to come to my condo (for a fee) as time was very rare for my visit and i couldnt afford traveling in the manila traffic. The workout was exceptional and John knew how to challenge you and your inner self. He shows you how to throw proper punches and kicks with the correct technique. I will do this again when i am in Manila and i am thinking about registering in a local kickbox gym now. After one day i still feel sore so it was worth it!

The host wasn't able to meet me but coordinated the session well and I met with John. Although I was unable to take part on the given date, I asked to rebook and Ruth helped me. The trainer John is a professional and he was great. He took me through some warm ups then some intense basic level training of Muay Thai (Kicks, punches etc) then we finished off with some abs work out! I totally recommend this if you're a first timer as Muay Thai is great for the body and the mind and it's fun! The location was perfect! Thank you Ruth and John!

Such an amazing experience, from the get go Ruth was communicative very understanding and accommodating. The session with John was excellent, he was really encouraging, firm and focused. I'm really glad I went and in that heat - it was a challenge but well worth it!! 🤣😂
