As my private guest, you will gain a behind-the-scenes look at what makes this place so special. You will have the kind of undivided attention you just won't get to have on large group tours. Jazz history, insider's secrets and stories of the French Quarter will help you leave New Orleans with a unique understanding of the Big Easy.

This 3-hour Driving tour will take you to the highlights of the WHOLE CITY and along the way share many of the stories that have formed the culture, architecture, and music of the Big Easy.

We will typically stop for food Midway through the tour!

Visit local historic landmarks including:
- French Quarter
- Garden District
- Hurricane Katrina Damage/ Musicians Village
- The Old U. S Mint
- St. Louis Cathedral
- City Park
- Madam Delphine Lalaurie's Haunted House
- Count Saint-Germain (The Vampire's) House
- Lake Ponchartrain
- Old Ursuline Convent
- The French Market
- The Backstreet Cultural Museum.
Other things to note
Bring your camera and walking/dancing shoes.

I am a well studied New Orleans Historian. I came to New Orleans in my teens to study Jazz and History at the University of New Orleans. My sense of humor and appreciation for New Orleans is what people love about me.

I'm currently a licensed tour guide with the City of New Orleans. I've traveled the world as a working Jazz Saxophonist, but no matter what I am steeped in the New Orleans Culture. My tours can be completely customized for you especially if you are a music fan.

Whether your interests may be the food, art, music, or just the history while in the Big Easy, I look forward to introducing you to the Gumbo we call New Orleans.

Quay provided a tour of the French Quarter that was uniquely colored by his encyclopedic knowledge of jazz and music. He expertly slid in some great off the beaten path items alongside the main sights. We also have a top choice for a jazz show later in the week. My folks and I had a great day.
