Embark on this ultimate 3-dish hands on cooking experience at our high rise home, inclusive of a highlight visit to the busiest morning market in Penang and a stopover at Him Heang, my no. 1 spot for local pastries!

After we pick you up, we'll visit Air Itam Market to gather and learn unique local ingredients while sightseeing the bustling locals' morning lifestyle. We'll also have an authentic breakfast and enjoy coffee at a famous nearby Kopitiam.

You will learn 3 signature dishes from an ethnic. Book for a week if you have ample time to explore every ethnic cuisine of Malaysia!

My high rise home has breathtaking bird eye Penang view of cityscapes and beautiful coastlines.

The other highlight is the historical Penang Air Itam Market which is the first wet market established in Penang. Back to 1900s, pepper estate and the high lands of Air Itam was developed for agriculture purposes for the British. On a daily basis, fresh produces were traded at Air Itam Market.

This was such a beautiful experience. Chef Samuel is caring, attentive, and very knowledgeable in his craft. He helped my partner and I feel comfortable among the bustling street market while still being attentive to our questions. The view from his place is spectacular. And the food was delicious — couldn’t believe we prepared it ourselves lol. Would highly recommend his class!

This cooking class was great. A really fun and engaging way to explore local cuisine and get some insider knowledge. Chef Samuel & Jacqueline were wonderful hosts! Would definitely recommend this experience!!!

We loved our experience with Chef Samuel and his partner. The tour starts off by going to a local market – off the beaten path from where tourist blogs tell you to go – where we got to try some great traditional breakfast dishes. Once at Chef Samuel's apartment, which is beautiful with great views, we got to try our hand at making curries and roti. The class is very informative and a lot of fun. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a personalized cooking class.
