Definitely recommend if you want something other than the typical guided walking tours where they tell you generic information about a place. Raina showed us the history of the area from a perspective we don't get to hear often. She's very knowledgeable and loves what she does.

Raina centered African-Americans in Philadelphia’s history. This is not easily seen in the city’s monuments dedicated to liberation and independence. Her tour allowed me the opportunity understand one of the nation’s Capitol from a lens where I was at the center. This is an essential tour for any visitor to Philadelphia, but especially for those who want to understand the essence of what this nation is. Her mother is amazing too!
