Explore nature's beauty in one of SF's best kept secret neighborhoods off the beaten path and out of most guidebooks while optimizing our own health and intentional capacity to self heal in community with stretching, breathing, yoga, learning about the local plants and taking in the sweeping views of SF often overlooked by visitors. Our time together will be 1.5 hours and we’ll cover about 1 mile of various (and at times steep) terrain at a leisurely pace. As we make our way the top of the hill, stopping to enjoy yoga poses, breath work and moments of stillness to drink in the panoramic vista of San Francisco and her landmarks. Perfect combination of creating inner space in the outdoor space San Francisco invites us to protect and love. Be part of the spirit of sharing unity in our community! Please note, each experience can be customized depending on group interest and what kind of plants are seasonally available to explore directly on the walk toward the top of the hill. Guests with limited mobility please email me with questions, details or to create a custom booking, as this hike can be adapted to paved and mostly level surfaces and experienced with beginner or family friendly yoga options available.
Inspired by nature, I have lead outdoor health and wellness workshops, yoga experiences, and edible wild foraging as a nature educator all over Sonoma County and SF since landing back in the Bay Area in 2009. I even received a Bay Area Green Business Award in 2015 for my own entrepreneurial health and wellness company! Combined with my advanced E-RYT 500 certification and YACEP continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance you get to relax and unwind without needing to look at a map, read a book on the ecosystem or figure out how to get your yoga breathing and stretches in while you’re with me in this best kept secret neighborhood and epic view point of San Francisco. With 360 degree panoramic view from the top to call in the 4 directions of health and healing, I look forward to guiding you to experience how Nature is Healer!

Meet outside Martha's Coffee, across from my workshop studio space, on Cortland Ave in Bernal Heights. From there we will walk through the backside of the hill and make our way up to panoramic views of the city, explore trails depending on group interest, ability and weather conditions. It's one of the last spots for the fog to roll in, so bring a camera. Enjoy gentle yoga poses, breath work and moments of stillness before coming back down.

Be comfortable, dress in layers. We will make our way up some steep streets; it’s a hill! No yoga experience necessary (nor do you need a mat). Bring water as appropriate, camera and a smile to share!
