The tour is an adventure through the history of gender, sexuality, performance, and nightlife through the more than 300 year history of New Orleans. We cover everything from the Storyville Madams to drag queens in 1950s. It's an often untold story of the ways women and queer people built incredible lives within the city in spite of their repression.

COVID PROTOCOL:
All guests will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Tour Maximums will not exceed 7 until further notice. Private tours recommended and encouraged. Guests may BYOB, so long as the container is not glass.

Can I bring my children on your tour?
Maybe. The content of the tour covers sex work, sexuality, burlesque, nightlife, and all sorts of vices. I would rate my delivery at about a PG-13 but the history is not sugarcoated. If you are comfortable with your children hearing this information, it's been a great experience for the families taking the tour. Please keep in mind that anyone under 21 may have difficulty accessing bathrooms along the route.

I cannot take anyone under 18 without an adult.

Distance:
The tour covers about 2 miles of walking as a reasonable pace. Please keep this in mind before booking, especially if someone in your group has mobility issues. I can offer a "walking light" version of the tour through a private booking.
Other things to note
Make sure to bring comfortable shoes as the tour covers a little under 2 miles. Please inform me if anyone is under the age of 21 as it informs where we can stop for breaks.

Quinn was absolutely amazing!! She has such a rich knowledge of the city’s history and covers all of the things every other tour sugarcoats or skips over completely. We wanted a tour that highlighted the uniqueness of the queer and marginalized communities in NOLA and Quinn nailed it. She’s incredibly personable and funny- making the tour feel more like a fun walk around town with an old friend rather than a tour guide.

Such a great tour!! I loved hearing about the unique history of NOLA. Couldn’t ask for a better way to get out and see the city in a different way. Highly recommend!! It was also very covid safe. We did feel like it was one of the safest ways to take a tour during these times.

Quinn was such an amazing tour guide! She followed all COVID-19 protocols, and managed to pull off an amazing tour while trying to talk far to us from 6’, over traffic, and with a mask on! The content of the tour was super interesting and covers the untold stories of NOLA, while still staying historical! She knows her stuff, make sure to come with questions!!
