We'll have a day trip through the woods north of Rome, hunting truffles with the help of trained dogs,we will pass through areas rich in history of outstanding natural beauty.
After the trip we will go to have lunch at my house, we will learn how to cook truffles dishes and we'll eat them for lunch with a very good wine.
I will cook for you many different courses, all with fresh truffles!
You will can taste many different combinations with fresh truffles!
Other things to note
We have two locations to do the tour, both easy to reach and close to Rome,
it is possible to change location even a few days before the tour.

I am a chef as well specialized on mushrooms and truffles dishes, i started to cook with my father in our restaurant when i was 15, this is my second biggest passion!

Abbiamo trascorso belle ore nel bosco con Matteo e i suoi bellissimi cani. Matteo ci ha raccontato molte cose interessanti sui tartufi e sulla loro ricerca. Il coronamento è stato l'eccellente pasto con i tartufi preparato personalmente da Matteo. Una grande esperienza che posso consigliare caldamente. Grazie Matteo, sei grande! si può sentire il tuo entusiasmo per la tua passione e il tuo lavoro.

Abbiamo trascorso una giornata molto piacevole e spensierata alla ricerca di tartufi immersi nella natura con Matteo e le sue infallibili collaboratrici 🐶. Matteo è una persona socievole e appassionata del proprio lavoro, ci ha spiegato diverse cose sul tartufo oltre ad averci cucinato un ottimo pranzo! Un’esperienza che consigliamo vivamente, ci siamo divertiti molto :) da ripetere!

È stata un'esperienza magnifica, Matteo è una persona deliziosa, di compagnia, appassionato del suo mestiere e molto ospitale. Abbiamo trascorso la giornata passeggiando nella natura mentre Matteo ci deliziava con le sue parole e successivamente con le pietanze da lui cucinate. Abbiamo avuto l'impressione che il tempo si fosse fermato, lontani dal frastuono della città, dalle preoccupazioni quotidiane e immersi nella natura. In questi tempi difficili trovare una persona genuina e dagli occhi sorridenti come Matteo scalda più di un abbraccio. A presto :) Chiara e Marco

I took my boyfriend for a surprise birthday experience, he couldn’t have been happier! Extremely unique experience which gives you an opportunity to connect with a true Italian truffle family! The dogs were lovely, Uzze (not sure about the spelling) was a star with a great nose for finding truffles! The meal we had after was mind blowing and we would definitely come again, it is a wonderful activity outside of Rome and would recommended it to anyone!
